Summary
You went looking for a home and found a storm, a family, and a man who never learned how to stay.
After your mother’s death you leave behind the only quiet life you have ever known, carrying nothing but your father’s old letters and a restlessness you cannot name. You tell yourself you are chasing adventure, or maybe stability, or maybe a feeling you have never truly had. A place to belong. A place to breathe. Something that could feel like home.
When you cross paths with a certain outlaw, you begin to wonder if home might be something you find on the road instead of the place you left behind. He offers a sense of belonging you never expected, but belonging is not the same as safety, and safety is not the same as home. The world around you begins to shift in ways you cannot see yet, choices narrow, and distance suddenly hurts more than danger ever has.
