Summary
Running had always been Shu’s instinct—into training, responsibilities, the endless noise of work.
It was easier to drown himself in tasks than to face what scared him.
It was how relationships kept falling to the backburner, even the ones he treasured most.
Some part of him knew he couldn’t keep living like this.But for now, all he knew how to do was run.
In which Valt extends a hand toward something more, and Shu wavers between the pull of closeness and the urge to run.
