Loneliness was something Regulus knew better than himself.
He knew it as the back of his hand; he knew what it felt like, the emptiness and the void. It was all around him, in a house he couldn’t call home even if he tried; it was inside him, in a mind that wouldn’t allow love. Darkness wasn’t peaceful; it was oppressive—the total absence of everything. He blurred easily into it.--
Inspired by both Dante's Inferno and Hozier's masterpiece Unreal Unearth. Regulus takes an unbreakable vow with his parents in order to make the house of Black proud. However, he can't help but fall in love with a certain Gryffindor.
