Sera Starling and Sandra Dearing know that better than most. Orphaned, unaugmented, and scraping by, they survive on dangerous jobs, cheap meals, and the bond they’ve built since childhood.
Sera is reckless and fiercely protective, always throwing herself into the fire first. Sandra is careful and perceptive, the one who stitches wounds and keeps them grounded when the city tries to pull them under.
