Summary
It is the winter of 1991. Robin is reeling from a breakup and throwing herself into a documentary about New Yorkers, inspired by Gus the Polar Bear. Will is trying to carve out his independence in a boarding house on Bleecker Street, dating Tom Farkas even as Mike Wheeler begins to make his way back to him. Meanwhile, Mike has abandoned his trip across America to move in with Jonathan, whose already threadbare life begins to fray around the edges.
As their lives overlap once more, old habits, new relationships, and unresolved feelings make it harder to tell who is moving forward and who keeps pacing in circles.
