   Summary

   Bruce Wayne, interstellar bounty hunter, is trapped in a nightmare. Lost in the depths of space, abducted by aliens and held captive as a mindless beast. Powerless to resist the whims of the aliens or reason with them for his release, he is utterly trapped.

   Kal-el, a freelance journalist specializing in xenobiology correspondence, is in love. A surly little unclassified mammalian at the shelter he volunteers at has stolen his core. He’s never had a pet before and this creature has a history of servere behavioral problems, but he can’t let the poor thing stay at the shelter forever without trying to save it. How hard could exotic pet ownership be.
