Help, get me out of this place
Before my head becomes a maze
I can’t seem to finish the race
My life thinned out like a daze
It’s my first time living too
And I have never seen it as good
Everything seems like a loop
Someone please just drown me in a pool
Sucked right out the happiness in me
Every step, every breath
Started to feel like a threat
If only I had the time to flee
(Away from the thoughts that wanted to kill me)
I never expected someone to take heed
Despite the cracks that begged to be read
The walls had started to bleed
