Summary
Haruto Kato (19), A.K.A. Haru, has just moved to Lumiose City. Although he's excited to begin his freshman year in Kalos University's Departments of Zoology & Agricultural Engineering, he's also already disillusioned with city life. The crowds. The pollution. The Pokemon battles on his roof at 3 AM. It's a far cry from his family's cattle farm back in Kanto. He's already looking forward to completing his studies and moving back home - that is, until two chance encounters. The first is Rio, a charming Hoennese sophomore from the Department of Informatics. The second is a little baby Deerling that Haru's boss keeps chasing away from the flower shop. Rio and Deerling send Haru's life spiraling into a whirlwind he never could've predicted.
