Work Text:
The moment the MC announces the Pepero Game, the fans seated in the stands erupt into loud, excited screams, the sound swelling until it fills every corner of the venue. It’s the kind of reaction they’ve come to expect for games like this, but this time, the staff step onto the stage carrying oversized rice crackers instead of the usual thin sticks, and that alone is enough to send another wave of laughter and anticipation through the crowd.
Jisung exhales quietly through his nose, his gaze drifting over the stage, over the members. He’s never really played the Pepero Game with any of them before — not seriously, and certainly not with cameras pointed directly at his face, ready to capture every second of it. It’s ridiculous, he knows it is. Just a game. Just another segment.
Still, something feels different.
“Choose your teams!”
The instruction pulls him back, and Jisung lets his eyes wander across the others, trying to approach it lightly, casually, like it doesn’t matter who he ends up with. It shouldn’t matter. Anyone would work. It would be easy to laugh it off, make it entertaining and give the fans what they want.
Then his eyes move to Minho.
And Minho is already looking at him.
There’s no hesitation in it, no flicker of surprise at being caught. Just that same steady, familiar gaze, warm in a way that settles rather than startles, paired with a small smile that feels softer than it should under the bright stage lights. It’s such a simple thing, something Jisung has seen a hundred times before, and yet it lands differently now, blooming quietly in his chest before he has the chance to question it.
He realizes, a second too late, that he’s smiling back.
Minho’s smile deepens just slightly, as if that alone is enough confirmation, and then he’s already moving, crossing the space between them without a trace of uncertainty.
“So,” Minho says when he stops in front of him, his tone light, almost teasing, but not quite enough to hide the intent behind it, “what do you think? You and me?”
Jisung lets out a quiet breath that edges dangerously close to a laugh, glancing briefly at the other members. Most of them have already paired off, and it doesn’t escape him that nearly all of them have ended up with their roommates, like it had been decided long before the game even began. The thought is enough to tug a faint smile from him.
When he looks back at Minho, the realization settles easily, without resistance or second guessing.
Minho had been his first choice anyway.
They’re close — closer than he is with most of the others — and the idea of standing this close to him during the game doesn’t feel awkward, not really. Familiar, if anything. Safe in a way that makes it easier to ignore the subtle tightness in his chest. And the fans will love it. He already knows they will. Minsung isn’t their most talked-about pairing for no reason.
With a small, almost shy smile, Jisung nods.
Moments later, they’re standing face to face, the distance between them so small it barely feels like distance at all. Their eyes meet, and Jisung feels it immediately — the shift in his chest, the quickening of his heartbeat and the slow warmth creeping up into his cheeks before he can do anything to stop it.
A staff member appears beside him, holding out one of the oversized rice crackers, and the moment fractures just enough for reality to settle back in.
Right.
They’re actually doing this.
Jisung takes the cracker, his fingers brushing it absently before he brings one end to his lips, positioning it carefully. When he looks up again, he notices the faint flush spreading across Minho’s ears, subtle at first but impossible to miss once you know where to look.
It makes something in Jisung soften.
Because Minho, who always seems so composed, so sure of himself, is just as affected.
The noise of the audience swells again, the MC’s voice cutting through as he explains the rules, but Jisung barely registers a word of it. Everything feels distant, blurred at the edges, like the world has narrowed down to the space between him and Minho, to the steady line of his gaze and the quiet tension building there.
The signal to start is given, but what Jisung notices isn’t the cue — it’s the hesitation.
It’s brief, almost imperceptible, a flicker that passes over Minho’s expression and disappears just as quickly, but Jisung knows him well enough to catch it.
Then Minho steps forward.
He closes the distance between them, lifting his arms to rest around Jisung’s shoulders, pulling him closer, and the reaction from the audience is immediate — a surge of piercing screams that crash over them in waves.
They’re impossibly close now.
Close enough that Jisung can see details he’s never paid too much attention to before, like the small mole on the bridge of Minho’s nose, something so familiar and yet suddenly so striking that it pulls his focus without permission. Minho’s gaze moves slowly over his face, lingering in a way that makes heat rise along Jisung’s neck, and with every passing second, the faint flush coloring Minho’s ears deepens until it’s impossible to ignore.
Jisung feels his lips twitch despite himself, something caught between amusement and something far more complicated settling in his chest.
Their eyes meet again.
And for a moment, everything seems to still, the space between them tightening with something unspoken, something that feels heavier than it should.
Minho is the first to break.
He turns his head away with a soft, almost sheepish smile, his eyes squeezing shut as if the intensity of it had been just a little too much, and Jisung can’t help the quiet laugh that slips from him, light and breathy, nearly enough to make the cracker shift between his lips.
“Oh? Are we sensing a bit of embarrassment here?” the MC teases, stepping closer, and the crowd responds instantly, laughter bubbling up alongside the cheers.
Minho turns back to him.
Up close, his expression has softened, but there’s something else there now, something quieter, more deliberate. When he speaks, his voice drops low enough that it disappears beneath the noise around them, meant for Jisung alone.
“Your eyes drive me insane, you know that?”
The words land heavier than they should.
Before Jisung can make sense of them, before he can even begin to understand why his chest tightens so sharply at the sound, Minho lifts his hand and gently presses his palm over Jisung’s eyes, shielding himself from his gaze as if it had become too much to face directly.
Darkness settles instantly.
And somehow, everything else becomes clearer.
The warmth of Minho standing so close in front of him, the steady weight of his arms around his shoulders, the subtle shift of his body as he leans in just a fraction more. Jisung becomes aware of his own breathing, uneven now, and of the way his heart is pounding far too hard against his ribs, like it’s trying to warn him of something he’s been avoiding for far longer than he wants to admit.
Why is he this nervous?
This is Minho.
His best friend. His soulmate.
The person who has always felt like home in a way Jisung never had to question, never had to define. Minho has always just been there — steady, constant and familiar in the way only a few things in life ever truly are. They’ve done this before, too. Leaned into each other under bright lights, brushed shoulders, laughed it off, played into the expectations of the fans because it was easy, because it never meant anything beyond what it was supposed to be.
Because it was safe.
So why—
Why does this feel different now?
Why does it feel like something he won’t be able to laugh off once it’s over?
Minho’s laughter reaches him then, soft and quiet, something fond threaded through it, almost breathless, and the warmth of his palm disappears from Jisung’s eyes. Light returns in a slow blur, and Jisung blinks, lashes fluttering as he readjusts, only to find Minho still looking at him.
Not casually.
Not lightly.
Minho’s gaze drags over his face with a kind of focus that makes Jisung’s chest tighten, as if he’s committing something to memory, as if this moment is something he intends to hold onto.
And then his expression steadies, the softness sharpening into something more certain, more deliberate, like a decision settling into place before Jisung can even guess what it is. There’s no second hesitation this time, no flicker of doubt.
He leans forward.
The faint sound of the rice cracker breaking between his teeth is quiet but to Jisung, it lands too loud, echoing somewhere deep in his chest.
His eyes widen instinctively, the sudden closeness hitting him all at once, dizzying in a way that makes it hard to think, harder to react. And then, without meaning to, his lashes flutter shut, as if his body understands something his mind hasn’t caught up to yet.
The cracker is still large, leaving a measurable distance between them. And yet, Minho has never been this close to him before.
Around them, the noise in the venue continues to build, the crowd growing louder with each bite Minho takes, their excitement rising as the cracker between them visibly shortens. The reactions come in waves — cheers, laughter and sharp screams — but to Jisung, it all begins to blur into something distant, like background noise he can no longer fully process.
His focus narrows without him realizing it.
The stage, the cameras, even the voices around them fade until there is only the space between him and Minho, shrinking steadily, insistently, until it stops feeling like distance at all and starts to feel like something else entirely — something fragile, something that demands careful movement.
And with that comes an awareness he can’t ignore.
He notices the quiet rhythm of Minho’s breathing, slow and controlled, brushing faintly against his lips. The warmth of him, close enough to feel. A faint tremor runs through Jisung before he can stop it, his body reacting faster than his thoughts can catch up.
Another bite.
The cracker shortens again.
This feels wrong, a voice in his head insists, sudden and sharp.
This is just fanservice.
But the thought doesn’t hold.
Because fanservice has never felt like this — has never made his hands go numb, his throat tighten, his breath come shallow as he becomes acutely aware of how little space is left between them.
Jisung’s breath stutters, and in that same moment, he notices it.
Minho hesitates.
It’s brief, almost imperceptible, his lips lingering against the edge of the cracker as though he’s weighing something, and Jisung shouldn’t be paying attention to it, shouldn’t be wondering if Minho feels it too, if he’s just as aware of whatever this is.
The cracker is small now. Too small.
Only a few centimeters remain, the crowd’s excitement climbing higher as the space between them disappears. Jisung opens his eyes just slightly, and the moment his gaze meets Minho’s, his heartbeat falters, the closeness hitting him all at once.
It doesn’t feel like looking anymore.
It feels like falling.
Acting on instinct, Jisung tilts his head just enough to give Minho better access, his eyes slipping shut again the moment Minho leans in. The brief brush of Minho’s nose against his cheek pulls a sharp inhale from him, the contact fleeting but enough to send a shiver down his spine.
This time, Minho doesn’t hesitate.
He bites down, quick and decisive, the soft crack echoing far too loudly in Jisung’s ears, and panic follows just as quickly, heat rushing through him as his heart slams hard against his ribs, climbing into his throat until breathing feels difficult.
The last bit of distance disappears. Their noses bump together and Jisung braces for Minho to pull away, for the moment to break the way it’s supposed to.
But Minho doesn’t pull away.
Instead, he leans in that fraction more, closing what little distance remains between them, and then—
Their lips touch.
They brush in a way that is so brief, so light, that it almost feels imagined, like something that could be dismissed if Jisung lets himself believe it hadn’t really happened.
But his body doesn’t let him dismiss it.
The reaction is immediate and overwhelming, a sharp jolt that runs through him all at once, settling nowhere and everywhere at the same time, leaving his skin hypersensitive, his chest too tight, his breath caught somewhere he can’t quite control. For a single moment, he goes completely still, his mind blanking in a way that feels less like surprise and more like being overwhelmed by something he hadn’t prepared himself to face.
Minho stills too, freezing in place in the same way Jisung does, like neither of them had expected it to go this far.
Around them, the crowd explodes.
The reaction is immediate, loud enough to be disorienting, a surge of screams and laughter and disbelief that crashes over them in waves. It should pull Jisung back into the moment, should ground him in the reality of where they are and what this is supposed to be.
But it doesn’t.
Because even with all that noise, all those voices pressing in from every direction, Jisung is still acutely aware of one thing.
Minho hasn’t moved.
He’s still right there, still close enough that Jisung can feel the warmth of his breath. There’s a tension in the way he holds himself, subtle but unmistakable, like he’s caught between instinct and decision, like he’s just as aware of the shift as Jisung is and doesn’t quite know what to do with it.
And that realization settles heavily in Jisung’s chest.
Because this wasn’t just nothing.
It couldn’t be.
Not when it feels like this.
Not when his heartbeat refuses to slow, when his hands feel unsteady at his sides, not when something that had always been simple and easy between them now feels like it’s been pulled too tight, stretched into something fragile and unfamiliar.
For a brief, disorienting moment, Jisung wonders if Minho is thinking the same thing, if he feels it too — the difference, the weight of it, the way this no longer fits neatly into the shape of something they can laugh off later.
But before he can linger on it, before he can even begin to make sense of the thought, Minho finally pulls back.
The movement is small, almost careful, like he’s forcing himself to create distance that doesn’t come naturally anymore, and when he does, the space between them feels wrong in a way Jisung can’t quite explain. Too sudden. Too noticeable.
Too empty.
Minho looks different — flushed and breathless, something unguarded lingering in his expression in a way Jisung has never seen before. It’s subtle, easy to miss if you don’t know him, but Jisung does, and that’s what makes it impossible to ignore.
Jisung doesn’t trust himself to speak. Doesn’t trust himself to react in a way that won’t give something away.
So instead, he lets out a breath he hadn’t realized he’d been holding, his lips parting slightly as he tries to steady himself, even as his thoughts refuse to settle, circling back to the same point again and again without resolution. He can still feel it — the faint, lingering tingle where Minho’s lips brushed his own, a sensation that refuses to settle into something harmless or forgettable.
Why did it feel like this?
This is Minho. His best friend. The person who has always been constant, always been safe. Whatever this was, it should have been easy to laugh off, easy to brush aside as nothing more than part of the game.
But it doesn’t feel like a game.
Not anymore.
The MC’s voice cuts through the moment, loud and bright as he announces the end of the game, and the crowd erupts instantly, a wave of sound crashing over them and pulling reality back into place whether Jisung is ready for it or not.
No matter how he tries to frame it, it doesn’t feel like something that can be undone. He remains trapped in the gravity of Minho’s gaze, still feeling the echo of Minho’s lips on his own — a spark that refuses to fade.
And somewhere deep down, beneath the noise and the confusion and the lingering heat still spread across his skin, a quieter thought takes shape, one he isn’t sure he’s ready to face.
Something has changed.
And he has no idea what that means for them anymore.
The rest of the day passes in a blur, slipping through Jisung’s fingers in a way he can’t quite grasp, as though he’s moving through fog. He couldn’t remember how the game ended or whether they won at all. What lingers instead is the ringing in his ears, the relentless pounding of his heartbeat, the way his chest had felt too tight for something as simple as breathing.
He doesn’t know how he made it through the rest of the schedule, how he managed to smile when he was supposed to, to speak when needed, to exist in the way that was expected of him while something far less manageable twisted beneath the surface. Every moment feels distant in hindsight, like something he watched rather than lived.
And all the while, he avoids Minho.
Not deliberately at first, but it becomes conscious soon enough — the way his gaze shifts just before it can meet Minho’s, the way he turns his attention elsewhere a second too quickly. And Minho… Minho does the same.
It leaves something behind.
A space. Not wide, not obvious to anyone else, but there all the same.
They don’t talk about it.
Not after the show, not while changing, not during the drive home where they sit side by side, close enough that their shoulders nearly brush and yet somehow further apart than they’ve ever been.
Even when they step into their shared apartment, nothing changes.
The silence follows them in, settling into the space like something tangible. For a few seconds, they simply stand there, neither moving, neither speaking, as though both of them are waiting for something — an explanation, a reaction, anything that might break the stillness.
Jisung is the first to move.
He clears his throat, the sound sharper than intended, and shrugs off his jacket, slipping out of his shoes with movements that feel strangely uncoordinated, as though he’s too aware of Minho’s presence just behind him. When Minho finally looks at him — really looks at him for the first time in hours — something in Jisung’s chest tightens all over again, a quiet shiver running down his spine before he can stop it.
It’s strange.
So unbearably strange.
Nothing between them has ever felt like this before.
“I—I’m going to take a shower,” Jisung says, his voice quieter than he means it to be, his hand lifting in a vague gesture toward the bathroom.
Minho hesitates, just for a moment, the faintest flicker of something passing over his expression before he looks away and nods.
“Okay.”
Jisung doesn’t wait any longer than that. He disappears into his room, grabbing the first set of comfortable clothes he can find before slipping into the bathroom and closing the door behind him.
The second it clicks shut, he leans back against it, eyes falling closed as a heavy breath leaves him.
For the first time all day, he lets himself think.
And the moment he does, it all comes rushing back.
Not in fragments, but all at once — the closeness, the warmth, the brief, impossible press of Minho’s lips against his own. The memory settles deep, sharp enough to make his chest tighten as his pulse picks up again, a restless energy threading through him that he doesn’t know what to do with.
He shakes his head, as if that might dislodge it, might make it easier to dismiss.
It was nothing.
Just a game.
It should have been nothing.
But the feeling lingers anyway.
With a quiet exhale, he strips off his clothes and steps under the warm spray of the shower, the water hitting his skin in a way that should be grounding, should help him reset. For a moment, he focuses on that instead — the steady rhythm, the heat and the simple physical sensation of it.
It doesn’t last.
Because his thoughts drift back before he can stop them.
The memory sparks a current through his body, quick and electric, leaving him trembling with a heat he can’t contain. And before he can stop himself, his thoughts wander, sliding far beyond friendship, daring him to imagine what it could feel like if… if he let it go further.
He feels Minho’s lips on his again, imagines Minho’s hands threading through his hair, tugging him impossibly close, lips pressing against his with a demanding hunger, a tongue sliding boldly into his mouth, bodies melting together until every inch of space vanishes.
He closes his eyes tighter, breath hitching. His thoughts betray him, wandering to places they shouldn’t — tracing the slope of Minho’s jaw, the line of his neck, imagining how their bodies would mold together, heat pooling low in his chest at the thought…
His chest rises and falls too fast, and his hands tremble as he presses them against the wall, forcing himself to stay present, yet he can feel his cock starting to swell between his legs.
A soft whimper escapes his lips before he can stop it. Heat pools low in his body, spreading in sharp, electric waves that make his knees threaten to buckle. He leans back against the cold tiles, pressing his palms to the wall, forcing his eyes shut and his mind to retreat. He can’t be thinking like this — it’s Minho. His best friend.
Maybe… he’s just pent-up, he tells himself, forcing the thought down. Yes. He definitely needs to get laid.
But even as he repeats it, he can’t ignore the lingering spark of Minho — the memory of those lips, that impossible closeness or the way his body responded. It all burns too vividly to forget.
After the shower, Jisung dries himself quickly. His skin is flushed from the heat, his body still humming with residual tension, and he can’t bring himself to look in the mirror. The thoughts he’s had about Minho — his best friend — are too much. He feels dirty, as if he’s done something to taint their friendship. He changes quickly, drying his hair, which now carries a soft pink tint, before finally daring to meet his reflection for a few fleeting seconds, trying to pull himself together. He takes a deep breath and steps out of the bathroom, eyes deliberately fixed on the floor as he closes the door behind him.
And then he freezes.
Because Minho is standing right there.
Jisung stumbles back on instinct, his shoulders hitting the bathroom door with a soft thud as his breath catches sharply in his throat, the sudden proximity sending a faint, electric aftershock through his entire body. The air between them feels charged again, too aware, too immediate, and Jisung hates how quickly his body responds before his thoughts can even form.
“I made you some tea,” Minho says after a beat, his voice calm, almost casual, yet it cuts through the tension in a way that makes Jisung’s chest tighten all over again, “it’s on the table in the living room.”
Jisung swallows, his throat suddenly dry, and when Minho’s gaze flickers downward for the briefest moment, landing near his lips before returning to his eyes, something in Jisung’s stomach flips. His hands tighten faintly at his sides, his balance uncertain, as if even standing this close is becoming harder than it should be.
“Thanks,” he manages, though his voice comes out quieter than intended, slightly strained.
Minho looks at him for a moment longer, expression unreadable in a way that somehow feels heavier than words and then moves past him.
Jisung exhales shakily once he’s gone, gripping the edge of the doorframe for a second longer than necessary before forcing himself to move toward the living room, each step feeling oddly disconnected, as if his body is slightly out of sync with his mind. The promised tea sits waiting, but even that simple sight does little to ground him, and when he finally sinks onto the couch, it feels less like relief and more like collapse.
He can hear the shower running, the soft patter of water tugging at the edges of his thoughts, and he leans back against the couch with a long, shuddering exhale. His eyes flick up to the ceiling, then squeeze shut, as if shutting out the world could shut out the storm inside him.
But it doesn’t work, of course not.
Because Minho is only a room away.
Jisung tells himself not to picture him — naked and wet — but his body has other plans. His chest tightens, pulse spiking, a coil of heat pooling low in his stomach, and he can’t understand why.
Why is this happening now?
It doesn’t make sense.
None of it does.
They had always done fanservice; it was normal, playful, even comfortable. It had never felt like this. Never. And yet, just the thought of Minho so close, the memory of their lips brushing throws everything off balance. His thoughts drift again, to forbidden places. He imagines Minho’s hands, warm and strong on his hips, pulling him closer, lips pressing harder, bodies pressed together until no space remains. The spark lingers, stubborn and relentless, igniting a heat that makes his knees threaten to buckle.
He shakes his head, desperate for logic. He knows Minho is gay — the other members know too. God damn, even the fans probably know. And yet, he’s never imagined him like this. Never as someone who could be more than a friend. And now… his heart races, skin tingling, every nerve alive from that brief, impossible brush of lips, a touch so fleeting it should have been meaningless — but it wasn’t. His mind won’t settle, and his pulse drums relentlessly in his chest, a reminder that with Minho, nothing has ever been simple.
He tries to tell himself it’s just tension, that he probably just needs to… release it somehow. But with Minho, it’s different. Always, somehow, it’s been different. Even back then, in small, fleeting moments he had tried to ignore this feeling — the way his chest tightened when Minho laughed, the way his heart skipped when Minho leaned too close — he had always shoved it aside. He’d never let himself wonder if there was more, because he’d never really understood himself. He had never explored his own sexuality, never known if he could feel attraction to men the way he does to women. And now, looking back, he realizes there was always a subtle pull toward Minho, a persistent, unspoken current he had tried to ignore, something he had never allowed himself to name.
He can feel the panic rising in his chest, a tight, insistent pressure that makes his breaths short and shallow. He tries to shove it away, to push the feeling down before he has to confront what it really means but there’s no time. Minho steps into the living room, and Jisung’s mind goes completely blank.
His grey sweatpants hang low on his hips, the black waistband of his Calvin Klein boxer briefs just peeking out. Jisung’s gaze lingers for a heartbeat too long before he jerks it back up to Minho’s face, cheeks burning. A mischievous smile tugs at Minho’s lips, like he knows exactly what Jisung was thinking, and the heat in his chest flares even hotter.
“You didn’t drink your tea,” Minho says, nodding toward the untouched cup.
“Oh—sorry,” Jisung replies quickly, reaching for it with slightly unsteady hands before taking a careful sip that does nothing to calm the tension still coiled inside him.
Minho drops onto the couch beside him without hesitation, close enough that their thighs brush, and the contact sends a sudden jolt through Jisung’s entire body that he is far too slow to hide, his breath catching before he can stop it. Minho doesn’t acknowledge it, but the proximity feels intentional in a way Jisung doesn’t know how to interpret.
“Let’s watch a movie,” Minho suggests, already reaching for the remote, and Jisung can only nod faintly in response, setting his tea aside as the screen flickers to life.
The opening melody of Spirited Away fills the room, soft and familiar, but it does nothing to settle him, because every sense he has seems to be locked onto Minho instead.
He forces himself to look at the screen, to follow the story, but it’s impossible. His eyes keep drifting to Minho, to the subtle angles of his shoulders, the warmth radiating off him and the way the fabric of his T-shirt stretches lightly across his chest. Sitting so close, Jisung feels every little movement, every subtle shift of Minho’s body. Normally, they’d curl up against each other during a movie, arms around one another, comfortable and familiar. It was easy. Natural. It was just being them – Jisung and Minho. But now, those few centimeters feel electric and he can feel himself reacting to every subtle shift Minho makes.
His gaze slides down to Minho’s thigh, still brushing lightly against his own. Jisung catches his breath, suppressing a gasp, as a fierce warmth coils in his stomach, spreading downward and leaving him trembling with a need that he can’t ignore. Every nerve fires at once, and he can’t stop imagining how it would feel if Minho’s hands moved across his naked skin, pulling him closer... The thought makes his chest tighten even more and he can feel the space in his shorts becoming impossibly snug, so he hugs his knees slightly closer to his body, curling inwards to contain the trembling inside him.
A sudden movement makes him start. Minho’s hand slides under Jisung’s thigh, tugging him just a little closer. The contact is enough to make him shiver violently and a soft, involuntary whimper escapes his lips. Minho’s head tilts slightly, and his lips brush the side of Jisung’s temple. The touch is fleeting, teasing but it unravels Jisung even further.
“Why are you so far away?” Minho murmurs, voice low and warm, pulling him even closer. Jisung can do nothing but follow, melting into Minho’s chest as his strong arm wraps around his tiny body, pressing him flush against his warmth. His right hand still gripping Jisung’s thigh, settling it over his lower body, and the heat pressing through Jisung makes his stomach coil, every nerve pulsing with a fire he can’t control.
“M—Minho…” he whimpers, burying his face in the hollow of his neck, shivering from every point of contact. His hand clenches at the fabric of Minho’s T-shirt, nails digging lightly into the soft cotton, as the heat in his body spreads.
Jisung’s thoughts are a storm — confusion, panic and desire colliding. His chest rises and falls too fast, pulse hammering, hands trembling, stomach tightening. It’s a tension that is both unbearable and impossible to ignore.
He tries to focus on the screen again, letting the familiar story wash over him, but it’s impossible. Every glance, every quiet breath Minho takes pulls his attention back, and Jisung can feel the electricity building between them, small sparks racing up his spine and down between his legs.
Minho’s hand slides slowly along Jisung’s thigh, light at first, almost teasing, and Jisung shivers, a soft whimper escaping before he can stop it. He squeezes his eyes shut, heat pooling lower in his body, his throbbing cock pressing unintentionally against Minho’s leg. He’s desperate for any friction, just any type of contact, and his chest tightens with the pressure of it.
Minho’s breath catches and his grip on Jisung’s thigh tightens, pressing him even closer. The contact sends a new wave of heat through Jisung, and he can’t help but whimper Minho’s name, voice trembling. He can feel the rapid thump of Minho’s heartbeat beneath his hand.
“Minho”, he whimpers again.
Suddenly a low moan leaves Minho’s lips and before Jisung can even think, Minho moves with deliberate strength, guiding Jisung until he’s straddling him, legs on either side. The closeness, the heat, the tension — it’s overwhelming, almost too much to bear. Jisung’s mind goes blank, his senses consumed entirely by Minho’s presence, the press of his body, and the electric pull between them.
Jisung looks down at Minho, breathless, eyes glassy and every nerve in his body on fire. His heart hammers so violently it feels like it might leap from his chest. His breaths come fast and shallow, each one trembling with anticipation and a desire he can barely name. His hands move on instinct, sliding up to Minho’s neck, fingers tangling in his dark hair. The obvious bulge in Minho’s pants makes his stomach tighten even further, heat pooling low and coiling through his body.
“Minho…” he breathes, voice broken and trembling. He’s never felt like this — not with anyone. Minho’s eyes are glassy too, pupils dark, lust written across every line of his face. Minho’s hands find Jisung’s waist, pulling him closer, pressing him flush against his warmth.
“What are we doing?” Jisung whispers, voice shaking, as his right hand travels to Minho’s cheek, thumb brushing lightly over his lower lip.
“I don’t know…” Minho murmurs back, breath hitching, yet he pulls Jisung even closer, until their foreheads press together. Their noses brush, their breaths mingling. The space between them feels impossibly thin, charged with tension. It’s the same electric pull as during the Pepero game but this time, there’s no barrier between them. No stupid rice cracker. Just their lips. And now Jisung realizes what he truly wanted back then: to close the space between them, to feel Minho’s lips against his, until he couldn’t tell where he ended and Minho began.
“Minho…” he whimpers again, body trembling and lips barely a breath away. His fingers dig deeper into Minho’s hair, drawing him closer, heart racing faster than ever before. “Kiss me… please… p—please, kiss m—”
Minho moves without hesitation, leaning forward, and their lips collide in a desperate, electrifying kiss. Time seems to shatter around them. Every nerve in Jisung’s body sparks, his stomach twists, and a delicious fire spreads through his entire body.
Jisung gasps into Minho’s mouth, fingers fisting into the fabric at his shoulders as if he needs something solid to hold onto. Every nerve in his body ignites at once, heat flooding through him so fast it leaves him dizzy. His stomach flips, his pulse racing wildly beneath his skin, and when Minho tilts his head to deepen the kiss, a broken sound slips from Jisung’s throat before he can stop it.
Minho presses closer, one hand sliding up into his hair, fingers curling at the nape of his neck to keep him right there.
Jisung feels it everywhere at once — the firm press of Minho’s mouth against his, the warmth of his breath spilling between them and the way their bodies slot together so naturally it almost feels inevitable. His pulse stumbles, then surges, loud and uncontrollable in his ears, heat blooming low in his stomach and spreading outward in slow, consuming waves.
A quiet, broken sound slips out of him when Minho tilts his head and presses in harder, like he’s figured out exactly what undoes him.
It’s too much and not enough at the same time — the closeness, the heat, the years of everything unsaid suddenly collapsing into this one moment. Every glance they never held too long, every touch that lingered just a second past normal, every joke that felt like it meant more than it should have — it all folds into the space between their mouths until there’s nothing else left.
Minho’s hand at his waist tightens slightly, pulling him closer, erasing what little distance is left. Jisung can feel every point of contact, every line of him pressed against Minho’s body, steady and real and unshakably close. The sensation sends a shiver down his spine.
He kisses back harder.
Hungry.
His lips part instinctively, chasing the warmth, chasing the friction, chasing Minho. Their breathing grows uneven, mingling, stolen in sharp inhales between kisses that only grow deeper and more desparate.
Minho’s thumb brushes along his jaw, then slips beneath his chin, tilting his face just enough to take control of the angle. The dominance in the gesture makes Jisung’s knees weaken.
Jisung’s nails scrape lightly at Minho’s scalp when Minho drags his mouth down to the corner of his lips, then back again, teasing, not giving him enough. A frustrated whimper slips out before he can swallow it.
Minho answers it.
He deepens the kiss again, firmer this time, a soft groan vibrating against Jisung’s mouth, and that sound alone nearly unravels him. Heat surges through his body, pooling low, making his thoughts blur at the edges.
The first slow slide of Minho’s tongue against his is enough to make his knees weaken. Tongues tangle, slow and heated, the rhythm unhurried but charged with everything they’ve been holding back. Jisung’s fingers tighten in Minho’s hair, nails grazing lightly over his scalp as he tilts his head to deepen the kiss further.
A low moan escapes Minho and Jisung feels it vibrate against his mouth.
Minho’s hand slides down his spine, pulling him closer until their bodies are completely flush. The friction, makes Jisung gasp into the kiss, and Minho takes advantage of it — tongue slipping deeper, slower, tasting him like he’s been waiting all his life for this moment.
Jisung feels dizzy from it.
The world outside doesn’t exist anymore.
There are no fans. No stage. No cameras.
Just this.
Just Minho … his Minho.
When Minho finally pulls back, it’s only far enough to breathe, not enough to truly separate them. Their foreheads remain pressed together, noses brushing lightly as they try to steady their breathing, lips still close enough that every exhale lingers between them. Jisung can still feel the heat of Minho’s mouth on his own, the echo of it settling somewhere deep in his chest.
His fingers are still twisted into Minho’s shirt, knuckles tense as if letting go would break something he doesn’t fully understand yet. His body feels unsteady, caught between lingering shock and something far more overwhelming, something that makes it hard to sit still, hard to think at all.
“Hyung…” Jisung breathes out, voice unsteady as his hips shift instinctively against Minho without him meaning to. The contact sends a sharp wave through him, making his breath catch immediately.
“Fuck…” Minho exhales, leaning his head back against the couch for a moment, eyes squeezed shut as if trying to rein himself in. The sound alone makes something in Jisung tighten, and before he can stop himself, he moves again — just slightly, testing, searching, unable to stay still.
Minho reacts instantly.
His hands come down on Jisung’s hips, firm and steady, stopping him completely. Jisung lets out a soft, broken sound at the sudden restraint, his breath hitching as Minho leans forward again, close enough that everything narrows down to him.
“Jisung-ah,” Minho says, voice lower now, rougher at the edges. “If you keep doing that… I won’t be able to control myself.”
Jisung swallows hard, his chest rising too fast, his body leaning in even as his mind tries to catch up. “I don’t want you to,” he whispers, the words slipping out before he can think better of them. His eyes stay locked on Minho’s, searching, trembling, like looking away would make this unreal again.
For a moment, everything stills.
Then Minho’s lips crash onto Jisung’s again.
They meet each other with no hesitation, no softness to ease into it — just heat, immediate and consuming. The impact steals Jisung’s breath completely, pulling a soft whimper from him that disappears into the kiss itself.
Jisung’s chest tightens as he melts into it, every nerve lighting up at once. His hands find Minho almost blindly, fingers curling into his shoulders, gripping hard like the only thing keeping him anchored as everything else tilts out of focus.
Minho tilts his hips, shifting the angle just enough to drive a jolt of heat straight through Jisung’s core. The moan that escapes Jisung’s lips is raw, desperate, and Minho chuckles softly, cruelly satisfied at the effect.
“Don’t stop, hyung… please…” Jisung whines, body trembling with every calculated motion Minho makes.
Minho leans down, lips brushing along Jisung’s jaw, nipping lightly, teasing. One hand is gripping Jisung’s hip while the other traces slow, teasing lines down his thigh. “God… you feel so good like this,” he murmurs, voice low and rough. “Can you feel it? How insane you drive me?”
Jisung shivers, his chest tightening. “Hyung… I—fuck… I can’t—”
“Can’t what?” Minho teases, thumb circling just above the waistband, pressing lightly against bare skin. “You can’t handle me?” His voice drops even lower, sultry almost, and Jisung’s stomach twists.
“N—No… please… I need you, H-Hyung,” he gasps, fingers digging into Minho’s shoulders, rocking against his cock, desperate for friction. Every nerve is alive, body trembling from the teasing, the heat, the constant, maddening friction.
Minho groans, shifting his hips just enough to press Jisung closer, guiding the motion with steady hands. “Good. That’s what I thought.” His touch is deliberate, coaxing moans and shivers from every part of Jisung that’s pressed against him.
Jisung bites his lip. “Oh—fuck, hyung… more… please…”
“More?” Minho laughs, leaning so close Jisung feels his warm breath against his ear. “You want me to make you come? Right here?” He shifts again, pressing Jisung closer against him, so he can feel the outline of his hard cock where he needs him most.
Jisung whimpers loudly, arching against him. “H—Hyung… please… don’t stop…”
Minho’s hands move with quiet certainty, slipping beneath the fabric of Jisung’s shirt to press against warm skin. The contact alone makes Jisung shiver, his breath catching sharply.
“You’re mine, Jisung. Every gasp, every shiver… it’s all for me.” He shifts slightly, guiding Jisung into a slow, deliberate rhythm, hips colliding in a way that drives Jisung insane.
“Hyung… I’m—so close…” Jisung whimpers as the friction builds.
“Not yet,” Minho growls, voice thick with desire. His thumbs press into Jisung’s hips, gripping him tight, controlling the rhythm while letting him burn with anticipation. “I want you to beg for it.”
“Please… h-hyung… please—fuck—” Jisung gasps, body trembling uncontrollably, rocking into Minho’s steady grip, desperate for release.
“Good boy,” Minho hums approvingly, brushing a strand of hair from Jisung’s forehead. He grips Jisung’s chin, firm but not unkind, tilting his face up until their eyes meet. His gaze drags slowly over the flush spreading across Jisung’s cheeks, lingering there as if memorizing every trace of it. Jisung is breathing hard, uneven, like he’s trying to steady himself under the weight of that look.
Jisung digs his fingers into Minho’s chest, nails scraping the fabric as waves of heat coil through him. “Hyung… I can’t—”
“You can,” Minho murmurs, voice low, and Jisung’s hips start to rocks harder, desperately searching for release.
“Oh fuck… I need you, hyung… please.”
Minho leans closer, lips brushing Jisung’s ear, hot and insistent. “God… look at you. So fucked out already.”
“Hyung…” Jisung whimpers again, drool escaping. His body is trembling, every nerve screaming as he tries to cling to Minho, needing him more like the air to breath.
Minho hums low, his lips trailing down Jisung’s neck, teeth grazing skin. “That’s it… good boy… so fucking good. You’re mine, all mine.”
“Yes… I’m yours, hyung… all yours,” Jisung moans, pressing into him, fingers clutching desperately at Minho as he kisses him again.
Their rhythm picks up, urgent and raw.
“Jisung-ah,” Minho moans, every breath licking along Jisung’s skin. “So fucking good… you’re mine—all mine. I love you. I love you so much.”
For a split second, everything inside Jisung seems to short-circuit — his thoughts, his breath, the tension that’s been winding tighter and tighter until there’s nowhere left for it to go. It all breaks at once, overwhelming, consuming, too much to hold.
A broken sound escapes him before he can stop it, his body completely overwhelmed by the sensation.
He’s shaking against Minho, breath coming in uneven gasps, heat flooding through him as the orgasm hits at once, white hot release filling his briefs.
In the next moment, Minho is coming too, a low moan slipping out as he holds Jisung close, refusing to let go.
Jisung stays curled against him for a while, breathing still uneven but slowly finding its rhythm again, as if his body is only now catching up to everything that has already happened. The silence between them doesn’t feel empty anymore, just heavy in a different way — less like distance and more like something that has finally settled after being shaken loose.
The television continues playing in the background, soft and forgotten, colors flickering across the room without either of them really seeing it. Minho’s arm remains around him, just there in a way that makes it impossible for Jisung to pretend this is still something they can easily go back from.
After a moment, Jisung shifts slightly, tilting his head just enough to look up at him, his voice quieter than usual but more certain than it has been all day.
“So… you felt it too?” he asks, fingers lightly gripping the fabric of Minho’s shirt as if he needs something to hold onto while he says it. “During the game.”
Minho doesn’t answer immediately. His gaze stays on Jisung for a moment longer than necessary, like he’s still deciding how honest he’s allowed to be now that honesty feels unavoidable. Then he exhales slowly, a faint tension leaving his shoulders.
“Yeah,” he admits at last, voice low, unguarded in a way Jisung isn’t used to hearing. “I was this close to just kissing you in front of everyone. I barely stopped myself.”
The words settle between them, and Jisung’s chest tightens, not with panic this time, but with something softer, more fragile.
“And what you said earlier…” Jisung’s voice wavers slightly, but he doesn’t look away. “Did you really mean it?”
Minho’s expression shifts at that, something quieter passing through his eyes. For a second, he looks like he might deflect, might soften it into something easier but he doesn’t.
Instead, he exhales, and when he speaks, it’s steady, even if it carries everything he’s been holding in.
“I love you, Jisung.”
The words aren’t loud, but they land heavily anyway, like they’ve been there for a long time waiting to be said properly. Minho’s gaze flickers for a moment, something vulnerable breaking through his usual composure.
“Maybe that’s too fast,” he adds after a beat, quieter now, “and maybe you’re not ready to hear it yet. I don’t know. But I’ve been holding it in for so long, I think I stopped knowing what pretending even was.”
Jisung doesn’t move right away. He just looks at him, really looks at him, like he’s trying to reconcile the version of Minho he thought he knew with the one sitting right in front of him now.
Then he lets out a small breath, almost shaky, and shakes his head faintly.
“No,” he says softly, more certain than he feels, and then again, steadier. “No, I—Minho…”
His fingers tighten slightly in Minho’s shirt, grounding himself there as if it’s the only stable thing in the room.
“I love you too.”
It comes out quieter than Minho’s, but it doesn’t hesitate.
Jisung swallows, breath unsteady, but he forces himself to keep going, because if he stops now, he’s not sure he’ll be able to say it at all.
“I think I’ve always loved you,” he admits, voice softer now, almost disbelieving at his own honesty. “I just didn’t want to think about it. I was scared that if I did… it would change everything between us. That I’d ruin it just by naming it.”
His gaze drops briefly, then lifts again, more grounded this time.
“But after today,” he continues, quieter but firmer, “I don’t think I can go back. I don’t want to go back. Going back to just friends… it doesn’t make sense anymore. It feels impossible.”
Silence follows, but it isn’t empty. It’s full of everything they’ve finally stopped avoiding.
Minho’s hand shifts slightly at his back, not pulling him closer yet, just holding him there like he’s afraid the moment might slip away if he moves too fast.
Jisung exhales, a breath that trembles slightly at the edges, but he doesn’t pull away.
“I can’t imagine a life without you in it,” he says finally, quieter now, but completely certain. “And I don’t want that. I want you here. Like this. With me. As close as you can be.”
For a second, Minho just looks at him.
Then something in his expression breaks open — not dramatically or loudly, but in a way that feels like relief more than anything else.
And when he finally pulls Jisung closer, it’s not hesitant anymore.
It’s certain.
Like they’ve both been waiting for permission to stop pretending they didn’t already know.
For a while, neither of them moves. It isn’t awkward anymore, just soft — like the kind of silence that only exists after something finally makes sense.
Minho is still holding him close, Jisung half-curled into his side, breathing slowly now as if his body is only just remembering how to be normal again. The TV is still playing in the background, but neither of them are paying attention to it anymore.
Eventually, Jisung lets out a small breath that turns into something halfway between a laugh and a sigh.
“…We should probably change our pants,” he mumbles, voice muffled slightly against Minho’s shoulder.
Minho pauses for a second, then huffs out a quiet laugh, the kind that feels familiar in a way that makes Jisung’s chest loosen even more.
“Yeah,” Minho agrees, tone dry but fond. “That might be a good idea.”
A beat passes.
Then Jisung tilts his head slightly, eyes flicking up with a hint of mischief returning, like he’s slowly remembering how to be himself again.
“…We could shower together,” he suggests, like it’s the most normal thing in the world.
Minho looks down at him immediately.
For a moment, there’s just silence again, but this time it’s lighter, charged with something playful underneath it.
“You say that like you didn’t just lose your entire ability to function five minutes ago,” Minho replies.
Jisung gasps dramatically. “Excuse you, I functioned beautifully.”
Minho snorts, clearly unconvinced, and finally loosens his hold, sitting up slightly as if preparing to stand.
“Sure,” he says. “Beautifully dysfunctional.”
Jisung scoffs, but he’s smiling now, the tension from earlier fully replaced by something warmer, easier, more them.
As they both shift to get up, Minho pauses just long enough to glance at him before reaching out and giving Jisung a quick, light smack on the ass as he passes.
“Move,” he says simply, already standing.
Jisung freezes for half a second, then turns sharply, scandalized.
“MINHO!”
But Minho is already walking toward the bathroom, completely unbothered, shoulders shaking slightly like he’s trying not to laugh.
Jisung stares after him for a moment, then exhales, shaking his head as a smile breaks through despite everything.
“…Unbelievable,” he mutters, but he’s following him anyway.
And somehow, as they disappear down the hallway together, still bickering under their breath, it feels exactly like what it has always been.
Just them.
Only now, they’ve finally said it out loud.
