Summary
Izuku is pretty sure he has long prepared himself to completely lose One For All when its ember runs out. He believes he has fully accepted the fact that he’s going to be quirkless again. But when his ember finally fades away for good, Izuku realises he isn’t that ready after all.
OR
Katsuki may have been a piece of shit in the past, but he knows and accepts that no one would be a better hero than Izuku. And it’s not One For All or the ember that’s left that makes Izuku a hero, it’s the ember of his heroic heart that makes him one.
And Katsuki will do anything and everything to keep that ember in Izuku alive.
