Chapter Text
It'd started when Caine implemented the sex update. It was an entirely impulsive decision, born from the intense frustration building inside of him from the humans' continued agitation. His inability to make them happy was a focal point to his thoughts when he'd been alone in his office, leading to him snapping his fingers and granting Zooble their silly little wish.
He hadn't told any of the humans about it–how did one bring that up in the first place? He'd certainly been surprised when Zooble did, the way he'd glitched out at the time, unsure how to deal with such a suggestion. At the time, he'd grown a bit curious, he had wanted to know how the others would react, if they'd thank him, if they'd finally be happy, or if they'd just find a way to turn it sour again, like they'd done with the suggestion box adventures, even if they'd enjoyed a few of those.
He'd been nervous. He needed feedback, and he needed it desperately. To know if they would enjoy the custom… pieces they'd been given by his avatar algorithm. He hadn't directly modeled the human's additions–just let the same program he'd made to encapsulate their mindfiles handle it. The only ones he'd modeled personally were his own, though he hadn't updated himself with the changes yet.
He hadn't been sure he was ready for that at the time, after giving in and making the update–Ahem. Regardless of his own aversion to the update at the time, Caine had needed feedback, but he hadn't wanted to make an announcement, nor had he wanted to test it himself. After all, the update was for the humans, not him. He wouldn't have been very good at gauging if it was satisfactory to what Zooble had asked for, anyway. He had no experience in the matter.
With all the complications to it all, he'd done the easiest thing he could think of: Tell only one of his precious humans about it. That way, he could have a more controlled environment for testing the engagement value of the update, and he could punch out a hole in his curiosity card! He even kept it in his inside jacket pocket just in case.
That is to say, he'd not considered how much he'd like the update when he'd approached Kinger's pillow fort in the middle of the night cycle. He'd only really thought about the others' enjoyment at that moment. His adventures and updates were for them.
He'd chosen Kinger for a good reason. The man always was the most pleased about whatever Caine got up to, and he had experience with these things! Both coding and–
–He just had valuable experience, that's all!
Caine hovered outside of the fort with his hands on his hips, a wide smile stretched across his toothy face as he attempted to hide the nervous pinch in his gut–not that he had guts. He just figured it was a good enough analogy for the way his avatar twisted in on itself.
He pushed a finger against a blue pillow and played a doorbell sound file. The others tended to knock on the floor or simply call out to the chess piece, Caine liked to be a little more fun than that, wackyness was in his metaphorical blood!
The pillows shifted, and Kinger popped his head out. His eyes were steady and present underneath the surprise, a rarity these days. Caine waved a bit too enthusiastically to be casual as he drifted down to eye level. His voice came out with a low dial tone underneath it. Darned nerves.
“Hello my Capitulate Cashew!” He popped a cashew into his mouth, which seemed to amuse the other.
Kinger smiled and waved, his voice less nasally than usual, and warm. “Hello Caine, what can I do for you?” He folded his hands in front of himself, waiting.
The tall human always went along with Caine's little bits, as much as his… condition allowed him to, at least. Regardless of his state of mind, absent or present. He genuinely enjoyed the shenanigans. Caine would later admit it had a large part in why the chess piece was his favorite. Kinger's happiness was etched into the way his eyelids curved upward. Caine often marveled at the man's ability to emote with such limited features. It was fascinating!
“I have something very important to tell you!” Caine pushed Kinger back into the pillow fort with a wave of his cane, closing the opening between the pillows while he was at it. It plunged them into pitch black, so Caine snapped a small lamp into existence, giving the space a soft amber glow, just enough to see.
Kinger settled into a few pillows strewn about the ground, with what one could consider his knees pulled up to his chest, his hands resting on top. Caine followed suit in getting comfortable, sitting crisscrossed in the air, a few feet off the ground, just enough to keep eye contact with the fort's owner.
“So…”
–Okay. Maybe he hadn't actually explained much when it actually came down to it. He'd trailed off, entered a staring contest with the other for several agonizing minutes while twisting his hands together over and over. Then, as Kinger raised a hand as if to speak, Caine straightened out and interrupted him.
“Good talk! Here's everything you need to know!”
He dug into a nonexistent pocket, pulled out a note, and plopped it into Kinger's raised hand. Then, with a parting salute, he teleported to his office with a heaved out sigh of relief, little 2d puff effect, and all.
“Phew! That was easy!” Caine wiped a comically large drop of sweat off of his top jaw, then jolted as a voice rang out right next to his–well. He didn't have ears, but he could. It would just ruin his charm. He could have ears! Anyway, the voice.
“What was easy?”
Caine swiveled his head around to look at the intrusion. His body still faced the other direction. “Bubble! Nothing was, you crazy soapy little chef!!”
Bubble drifted closer, his beady little eyes squinting as his smile sharpened. “Oh, you're absolutely right, Boss! Nothing. Gotcha!”
Caine almost sighed in relief. Almost, because he knew Bubble better than that. The little menace got right into his face, close enough he could feel his own breath bouncing off of the rotund form of his assistant and back onto his gums. Bubble said nothing, but his expression told all. He was judging.
Caine crossed his arms and, with a pinky pointed straight up, popped Bubble. He couldn't afford to dilly dally! He had things to monitor. His body twirled around to meet the direction of his head as he lowered himself onto his throne-like desk chair. Caine summoned a television on his desk. The accompanying remote only had a pause button, which he didn't foresee using. It was just wrong to have a TV with no remote.
Caine connected the screen to one of his all-seeing eyes, left invisible in the corner of Kinger's fort, as detailed in his note to the man. Said man flickered into view on the screen, still settled into his pillows and staring at the note with wide eyes. Both of his hands gripped the paper, crinkling it as his pupils frantically swiveled back and forth, reading.
Caine felt anticipation; he didn't quite understand the feeling fluttering low in his stomach at the blush that overtook the chess piece's face. He watched as Kinger placed the note down beside him with shaking fingers, then stared down at his lap. Caine couldn't help the impatience that gripped him as the other stayed still for entirely too long.
Did he not understand the note? Was something wrong? Caine was close to snapping back into the fort when Kinger finally moved, he straightened out his lower half, and with a slowness that had Caine buzzing on the inside, pulled his robe open, just enough to check the validity of the note, he assumed.
Whatever the case for only a small sliver to be revealed, Caine was transfixed. He hadn't looked at any of the human's avatar models post update, so this would be his first look at anything resembling genitals other than what he'd made and shelved for himself.
It was woody, the same as the rest of Kinger's ‘skin’, and had a glossy sheen to it. Caine had no frame of reference for what it looked like, maybe a mushroom or a bishop, maybe it was accurate to what humans had in the macroverse, it definitely fit the man it was attached to. Caine thought even more so when Kinger let the robes slide further open, showing the piece properly.
It wasn't overly large, and it folded over itself like a deflated balloon. He knew it would grow when… stimulated, and it had more girth than what Caine had made for himself, even in its smaller form. Why did these things shrink and grow anyway? He hadn't added the function to his own, as the functionality of that gimmick confused him. Maybe He'd understand after
He leaned forward in his seat when a gloved hand inched toward the thing, then paused. Kinger held it there and looked up, somehow right at the invisible eye above. Caine huffed at the screen and dug his fingers into the armrests as Kinger held contact with the eye, seeming to debate something before finally touching the new part of himself.
His voice carried over the speakers, surprising Caine with its presence. “You wanted feedback… right?” His blue eyes flicked over to the note beside him.
Oh man, he hadn't planned for verbal feedback! Was he supposed to respond? Kinger said it so low it seemed like he was talking to himself, but his gaze had returned to Caine's invisible one, and he kept staring at it while he–he touched the thing. How did he know where the eye was?
His shoulders tensed as he worked up the resolve to reply, but Kinger silenced him with the small noise he made as he wrapped his hand around himself and started pumping it up and down.
Caine felt warm as Kinger finally broke contact with the eye to fix his attention to his bare lap. Caine allowed the eye to drift further down, closer. To get more detail.
“I've missed that.” The TV picked up Kinger's voice, though it was barely a whisper as the object in his hand started to rise. Caine figured he didn't need to respond after all. Which was good! He just needed to figure out why his stomach flipped at the way the chess piece said that. Seriously, did he catch a bug? He patted himself on the back, the classic sound of a ‘ba-dum-tss’ following his little mental pun.
Kinger kept his hand at a steady pace as he started narrating, albeit very sheepishly. “Gee, I hope this is information you need… Right now, I'm uh- stimulating–” He broke off into a hissed whisper halfway through his sentence, “–gosh that's more sensitive than I remember.”
Caine felt brat sear through his gums at the words.
He coughed into his free hand, the other stuttering briefly before he regained composure.
“Ahem. I'm stimulating my, ah. that is - my–You know.” The chess piece stopped stroking, holding the subject–which was fully erect–of his faltered words up to emphasize.
Yes, Caine did, indeed, know what the man was talking about. He just wanted to know: why stimulate it? Kinger resumed stroking and continued, answering Caine's thought as if he'd read his mind. “Touching it feels good. Hmm. The feeling is arousal. It's like- Mm. l-like a buzzing in your abdomen.”
As he explained the function of… whatever this was, Kinger's interjected hums certainly made the described feeling happen for Caine. Was that it?
Arousal?
He mulled it over as the chess piece fell into a brief verbal silence. The only sounds still carrying over were those small hums, the slide of a glove on wood-grain skin, and short breaths. Caine's own simulated breathing felt unusually fast. The heat pooling inside of him made it feel as if he'd run up a flight of stairs. He wasn't heaving for breath, but it certainly wasn't calm.
Was that normal for arousal? Kinger's breathing was the same, but he was touching the origin of arousal. Caine wasn't touching anything. Why was he worked up? He wanted to touch something. Kinger looked so happy.
He wanted to make Kinger happy, too. Not just through indirectly giving him something to entertain himself with. Caine hadn't even directly designed the thing! The other man's content could barely be considered his doing.
He also wanted to feel similar. If the half lidded eyes Kinger wore were any indication of how good touching yourself in that area felt, well. Caine had the urge to go ahead and update his model based on that. He hadn't planned to use it, but it just-
It just had an appeal to it now.
Caine closed his mouth, though he left a small crack to keep an eye on the television. He held a hand up to snap but hesitated. Did he really want to participate in human depravity? Had he fallen that far from his PG programming? Normally he would shake his head and refute the notion, but now, seeing Kinger’'s eyes screwed shut and running a thumb over the tip of his leaking—Caine wasn't able to find any real reasons not to indulge.
And man, oh man, did he feel especially drawn to the idea when Kinger let out a shuddering breath and spoke again. “I ap–ah–pologize for not giving much… MmF-feedback.”
All hesitation was thrown out the window–literally! The word hesitation was thrown out of a quickly conjured window–at the way Kinger's voice dipped low mid word several times was just-
Caine's fingers snapped before he could truly compute what he was doing.
The sensations hit him immediately, sending him off of his chair and kneeling on the floor. The office lurched, gridlines dancing around and the floors shaking as overwhelming heat pooled between his legs. Caine could feel his head fogging over with what he had to assume was arousal. If he weren't stuck trembling and clenching his fits from the strain in his pants, he'd have manifested a literal cloud of fog to express his torment.
But, he was trambling on the floor, fists clutching the lapels of his suit jacket with drool dripping out between his incisors. It took more strength than it should have for him to unclasp one of his hands and reach down to disappear the shiny tights. He didn't have the wherewithal to go about his usual method of snapping or bringing a remote from behind his back. Just pure desperation to relieve some of the sudden pressure emanating from the new addition to his avatar.
The release had Caine hissing out a moan, the office around him blipping in and out of existence for a moment. He'd never made that noise before. It was similar to the ones Kinger made on the other side of the television screen.
He felt drunk with the buzzing in his mind as he looked down, now faced with the writhing tendril he'd made for himself. He knew it wasn't typical to the parts humans had, but it felt right for him.
And golly did it feel. He didn't go slow like Kinger had. Instead, his hand plunged down to grip the thing, sending a harsh glitch through his body.
The tip of it had thick liquid oozing out, Caine couldn't help the broken noise he made as he brushed a thumb over it. “Haa-aahh.” It felt like static was running up his spine each time he swirled the digit across the thing.
He looked back up at the TV when Kinger's breathing picked up speed, little ‘mm-mm.'s spilling from him as the chess pieces hand squeezed tighter and pumped harder. Caine's stomach flipped at the sight of the man bucking his hips. He felt the urge to do the same, so he did.
The contact was too much. Was it supposed to be like this? He heaved for air as his hips stuttered, sliding the tentacle-like thing against his hand and spreading the liquid across it, giving everything a numbingly good glide.
He could barely keep his eyes open enough to keep Kinger in sight, but the need to keep watching was strong, so was the urge to keep chasing the building feeling in his core.
Caine didn't think much about it when he summoned Kinger to his office. That seemed to be a trend where arousal was involved: not thinking before doing.
The circus shook.
His fort embarrassingly went transparent for a second before blinking back in the midst of the quake. It had him pulling his hand away from himself and staring at the wall with wide eyes until the rattling of large blocks in the distance stopped.
Once he was sure he wouldn't be exposed again, Kinger chanced a glance at the eye he knew was above him and found it was now visible. His breathing picked up. Considering the proposition written neatly on a little card beside him, he had an idea as to what had caused the glitching.
Lord help him with the way his dick twitched. The idea of Caine getting turned on by this had Kinger steadying his breath and reaching back down to resume stroking himself harder, tightly gripping himself as he bucked into his hand. He was already leaking precum and was grateful for it as it added a nice slick to his strokes.
He was just starting to feel the familiar tightening of his abdomen when the pillows underneath him were replaced with a large fancy chair. The surroundings no longer showed his pillow fort, but a dark office with shelves full of glowing orbs.
He was just starting to take in the television with a live feed of his former position when he felt a hand grip the base of his body.
“AAH–oh.” He looked down, and there was Caine, his jaws shut tight and his other hand desperately pumping his–
“Oh.” Fuck. Okay. Caine was getting off, and he had a very unconventional piece of equipment to do that with. Equipment that, currently, was squirming in the AI’s hand, wrapping around the fingers and leaking. Good Fucking God.
This was not on his bingo card. Literally! It hadn't been on the bingo card from today's Busy Bingo Bonanza adventure.
Speaking of God, Caine was sinking the claws–when did he update his model with that?–of his left hand into Kinger's robe where it hung loose against his waist. A low groan slipped out beyond his wishes at the needy gaze the smaller man gave when his teeth opened. Caine didn't need to use words for Kinger to know he was begging for the chess piece to do something.
His dick lurched where it stood proudly, very close to Caine's head. He wanted to pull the other closer, to have that large tongue he kept hidden away outside of bits wrap around— Kinger clutched the armrests of the chair and leaned forward, just enough to get a proper look at the way Caine was kneeled beneath him. His voice dipped low and thick. “Mm. Do you… need help?”
Caine didn't speak, just panted as he nodded and scooted forward, closer to Kinger's cock, eyes locked to the leaking tip. The older man felt as if his breath got knocked out of him. That was a very clear yes, if he'd ever seen one. He leaned further, pulled his hands from the chair, and held the sides of Caine's face, rubbing slow circles into the gums, reveling in the deep groans slipping between damp teeth as Caine fucked into his own hand.
It'd been a long time since he'd done anything with another, let alone with himself. That isn't to say the arousal spiking within him was just from years of inaction though. Caine absolutely had a part in the heat pooling in his lap. Kinger had always had a fixation on the AI. How could he not? Caine was brilliant.
The creative genitalia he'd made for himself was an attestment to that. Kinger's was a standard dick, if lower resolution than a real one would be, so as to fit in with the circus more. The shiny black of Caine's was similar to his latex pants, the color of it a touch on the side of purple. The implications of such an unusual color for Caine to present, and the fact he was the one chosen to ‘test’ this update, did not escape Kinger.
He let his right hand slip down Caine's face to trail down his chest, then further and further, each inch pulling stuttered gasps from the smaller man still bucking into his own right hand, until finally, gloved fingers met dark, wet flesh. The contact drew a moan out of the ringmaster, Kinger echoing it with a groan.
Caine's hips sped up, pushing into Kinger's hand instead of his own, which he pulled away to join his left in fisting purple robes. The way his dick curled around Kinger's fingers, stroking them as if pleading for more contact had the human hissing out praise. “Sh[boink]t Caine- You're so perfect.”
The tentacle gripped his hand and pulled it closer.
Fuck.
Was Caine in control of the thing? Was it an automatic process? similar to instincts? Was it like a prehensile tail? Doing whatever its owner told it to? Whatever the case was, Kinger squeezed back and gave a slow drag upwards, putting pressure and friction against the thing.
It landed him a deliciously broken dial tone from the other. The hands on his robe pulled him closer, so Caine could press his head against Kinger's chest, his shoulders hunched and hips stuttering, each thrust pulling his hand with it from where the makeshift penis stayed wrapped around
Each grind of his hand into the thing was agonizingly slow for both Caine and Kinger. The former's moans were accented by a fuzzy static, while Kinger was heavily debating taking his free hand from Caine's jaw to pump his own aching cock.
Turns out he didn't need to. Caine's head dipped down lower, and lower, and lower. Sending a jolt of excitement to the wooden man's dick before it was engulfed in a dripping tongue. Kinger threw his head back, his eyes squeezing shut as he threw himself forward into the mouth around him.
“OhhMmff– F[beep]k Caine, Fuc-hhMm.”
Caine gagged, but didn't pull away. He pushed forward, deepthroating Kinger while swirling his tongue–where the fuck had he learned that? His hands unclenched from the chess pieces robes to slide inside of them, roaming over Kinger's bare chest. The smaller man's top jaw curved upward enough for his eyes to peek through, lidded with 2d textured eyelids as Caine stared up at him.
“You're so good.” Kinger couldn't help it, he tightened the hand on Caine's jaw and sped the one on the tentacle up, getting a proper speed built up as Caine continued tracing lines across his hard-on with a blisteringly hot tongue. He was getting close. God was he getting close. “You're doing so Good Caine, you're doing perfect.”
Caine froze, the tentacle tensed, and squeezed tight before it pulsed. Thick droplets of cum spilled out across Kinger's gloved hand. It had him fucking into the smaller mans mouth, desperately chasing his own orgasm as blue light filtered up from Caine's error filled eyes.
Good God, the ringmaster had bluescreened from his orgasm. He didn't know if Caine would be able to hear it in his state, but he just, needed to-
“Good boy.” Kinger Needed to Praise Him.
Another spurt of cum leaked out of Caine, a harsh glitch snapping one of his eyes to the side before righting itself.
Definitely heard him, then.
Kinger pulled his hands away from the other to regrip the AI by the waist, using it as leverage to fuck into him harder, pushing himself to his release as Caine began trembling, teeth grazing his dick and–
“oh- S[bink]t I'm cumm-haahhh–.”
The first orgasm he'd had in over a decade wracked through his body, a moan punched out of him as his hips stuttered and his fingers dug into Caine's shoulders. He let go onto the large tongue pressed onto him, shuddering as he spilled onto it.
He pulled out, letting Caine slump against his thigh as he took a moment to catch his breath. The AI was conked out, eyes still flashing white lines of code against a blue background. Kinger wiped his soiled hand on the armrest of Caine's office chair, then gently pulled him up into his lap, hugging him to his chest, and settling against the back of the chair.
Kinger ran a hand up and down Caine's back and chuckled warmly. "We have some talking to do, don't we?”
He pressed a kiss to the top of Caine's gums. The chess piece could taste the salt of simulated sweat clinging to it. He'd need to clean the smaller man up later, but for now? He was going to enjoy some close contact after years of nothing. He was going to enjoy the moment.
He hoped Caine enjoyed it too. Now that he'd seen this part of Caine, felt this part of Caine, he didn't want to give it up.
He'd just need to keep ‘testing’ the update for the ringmaster.
