Summary
Bucky gets called in by Mel to help her fix the harm done by Valentina’s attempts at making a super hero, only to discover that Zemo of all people has been caught up in her dubious human experiments.
Zemo has changed drastically, becoming something akin to a vampire, with enhanced strength and a thirst for blood. Zemo has no desire to continue living with his enhancements and Bucky has to talk him off the metaphorical ledge. Bucky wants to see Zemo supported through adjusting to his altered self and proposes the idea of Zemo joining the new Avengers. Zemo, surprisingly, agrees.

Summary
After years without a consistent lightener to perform for, Tenna has gotten a little to used to being the one in charge. After he yells at a PA for far too long, Mettaton reminds him of exactly the type of submission he's made for. With the help of a few connector cables of course.
(Otherwise known as: Tenna loses control of his body when plugged into outside hardware. Mettaton decides to be a bastard about this fact.)

Tenna winced at yet another idyllic montage sequence looping in his head. Damn it, who was he fooling now?! Ding ding ding! Bingo! Himself! Again! Because Mettaton had the whole Light World at his disposal! He could float wherever he pleased, free of power cords tethering him to a wall. He could experience life first-hand. He could make his dreams come true—oh, how Tenna loved rewinding and replaying that hour-long monologue of his about creating a stylish corporeal body—and become the best version of himself. The festival was tomorrow, yeah? What a perfect time to waltz outside, smell the roses, and not watch TV! So don’t touch that dial, now or ever again, because this pilot episode was never getting greenlit!
And yet.
Mettaton stayed. He spent the day with him, his newly acquired CRT TV. But best of all? He shared it with Tenna.
Tenna adjusts to cheating death, his new home, and this Lightner he’s absolutely not falling in love with. (spoilers: too late, he already has)

Summary
To Caine it often felt as though the entire span of his existence had been nothing but an exercise in futility.
Endless effort spent on hopeless goals and still more hopeless humans, until his love had finally run dry. But while he could give up on humanity, could turn his admiration to contempt, his affections to violence, he found he could not ever let go of the soft blue eyes that he had fallen hopelessly and irrevocably for, as soon as they had met on opposite sides of a screen in that office years and years ago.
So there was never any other choice left to either of them, not when his longing for the older man had been baked into his coding from the very start, into his very DNA.
Kinger would understand who he belonged to.
It didn't matter if he broke that pliable body beneath him with the force of his feelings, even as he had once shattered his mind and torn his heart in two. Kinger would understand. Caine would MAKE him understand. And if Kinger, even with all his intelligence and resourcefulness couldn't get it right the first time?
It was fine.
It was FINE.
Caine has never known how to do anything other than try, try, TRY AGAIN.
