Summary
Harry Potter has magical power that has never been seen before, an ever growing gang of powerful and brilliant allies, and enough cunning and strength to face whatever comes his way this year.
Unfortunately, Harry Potter also has mental illness, a tendency for idiocy, powerful enemies, and a reckless streak that has taken at least ten years off Severus Snape’s lifespan so far- so Severus enters the year with more reservations than his foolish ward does.
Alliances will be tested, lines will be drawn, and Hogwarts is beginning to feel like a battlefield more than a school.
Which, in Harry’s opinion, is perfectly brill.

Summary
Harry feels great, honestly. He’s got a loyal group of friends, big plans for the future, and he thinks he’s finally gotten the hang of how other people show emotions and how to use those emotions to get what he needs.
Plus now there’s an exciting tournament happening, Snape’s darkening mark means Harry might get his chance for revenge on Voldemort sooner rather than later, and the new Defense Professor is an absolute bloodthirsty genius.
So Harry’s great.
It’s just that Severus Snape is not doing so great. He worries if his ward will survive a year filled with danger, masked enemies, and changes happening quickly within the student body.

Life was brill.
Life was not so ‘brill’ for Severus Snape who saw a small boy covered in scars, stuttering when he spoke, and seemed to be filled with unresolved trauma. The boy he vowed to keep safe had a true knack for chaos, a knack that even Severus could hardly contain.

A time-travel fix-it type story in which the wolf falls for the moon, the brewer falls for the grower, and the one who never had a childhood falls for the one who never grew up. Other relationships will happen, but first they’ll need to learn about some spectacular betrayals. The dead, who aren’t so dead, have been taking advantage of the survivors. Myths wander over and through the British magical world once again. Basically, Dumbledore is really creepy, Neville is King Arthur, and Sirius looks tasty in a leather jacket. The story begins a few short months after the war, and then, things get wild.
