“Listen, I know the sweater is ugly, but it’s rude to stare,” Shane said peevishly. He was overstimulated and wanted to go home, the last thing he needed was some dickhead staring at him.
Ilya took a long drag of his cigarette, eyes still not leaving Shane.
“Maybe staring is not bad thing,” Ilya said. “Maybe I stare because you are very pretty.”
Shane floundered before he could form real words. “Well. That’s stupid.”
“The staring? Or you being very pretty?”Or: A meet-ugly turned friends with benefits frat boy college au. Shane is convinced he’s nothing more than just another hookup on Ilya’s extensive roster. Ilya’s spent his whole summer plotting on how best to lock Shane down.
