Summary
Julian, a bored minor noble in Redania, feels trapped in his (albeit luxurious) life on his estate. What's a young man to do? He sneaks out at night, becoming the bard Jaskier who performs in taverns while his staff are none the wiser. One night, on his way back from such a sojourn, he stumbles across a severely-wounded stranger whom he nags into accepting help. Julian has no idea he's just saved the life of The Wolf, Redania's new warlord.

Summary
A curse has spread like a plague across the land, turning the tides of political conflicts and altering a good portion of the human population into Winged Creatures. Witchers appear to be the only one's willing to offer any sort of kinship to the new race, and new paranoia haunts the minds of human kings and queens.
Jaskier could not outrun the curse. Eskel could not escape the horrors that humans granted upon their former friends and families. Geralt and Ciri could only hide with the Winged, not fight for them, as they dodged Nilfgaard. Lambert could only flee with his new charge, suddenly responsible for a much younger life.
Witchers and Winged are targeted by humans, ignored by older races, and are both looking for a place to call home. A safe place to rest.
How fortuitous then, that Kaer Morhen is so large.

Summary
Jaskier is a genie that has been “freed” from his “bottle” which is bits and pieces of his lute. He isn’t truly free but enough to not actually care about being a genie. He's been traveling the world doing whatever. Upon meeting Geralt, he pretends to be a normal bard as he does with everyone but every now and then when Geralt wants something it just seems to be easier to get it. Sometimes when it’s a close call with a monster, any healing supplies are always nearby, sometimes they always have the right amount of coin, sometimes Jaskier just knows exactly what is needed for any given situation
Sometimes Jaskier and Geralt split paths and Geralt notices how his luck seems to better when his little strange bard is around.
I swear it gets so much better the further in you get
