Summary
A slow grin spreads across Jack’s face. “You think I’m handsome?”
Her cheeks flush, spine straightening. “I also said ridiculous,” she tries to deflect, reaching for her beer.
“Ridiculously,” he corrects, eyebrows rising, grin deepening his dimple, “followed by handsome.”
//
or, Samira and Jack run into each other at an airport in another city, and a five hour layover changes everything.

Tim motioned vaguely towards the folder. “A GPS anklet. I’d be restricted to a radius. Think about it, Hawk.” When Hawk shot him a look, Tim smiled, lips quirking up. “Agent Fuller. Just think about it.”
“You just want out of here. You’re not trying to help me. This is for yourself.”
Tim shrugged, fingers dusting along the file folder. “I give you help, you give me freedom — within a reasonable distance. We both benefit. You know: ‘something for something.’”
“A quid pro quo.”
“I wasn’t sure how brushed up you were on your Latin.” While Hawk tried to decide whether or not he should be offended by that, Tim slid the folder off of the table, handing it over. “Just think about it. I’m not trying to con you.”
______Or, Hawk is an FBI agent, and Tim is his (annoyingly) useful and charming confidential informant.

Summary
“Shit, shit, shit,” he cursed as he gripped the wrist of his injured hand, holding it above his heart. The cut wasn’t massive and, by design, not something you could stitch, but that didn’t make it any less messy or risky.
The blood thinners were not his friend right now.
A singular river of red trailed down his forearm to his elbow, then dripped onto the floor, leaving little splatters that his shoes soon smeared against the tile.
“Towel, towel, towel,” he said, spinning on his heel, gaze raking the room frantically. “Fuck—shit, there you are.”
Buck wanted fajitas, so he went to the store for the sweet onions he needed, but he got the wrong kind because he unexpectedly ran into the team, which had nothing to do with why he was crying in his kitchen--obviously, the shitty onions were to blame.
And his day just gets worse from there--as he ends up fileting off a strip of skin, bleeding everywhere, then accidentally hitting his talk-to-text and sending a ramble he never meant anyone to hear to the last person on earth to care: Eddie.

Summary
The AU where Bobby adopted Evan when he was six years old, and then twenty years later Eddie joins the 118 and starts dating Buck... and no one initially realises that Evan and Buck are, in fact, the same person. Part 1 is the story of the identity shenanigans and the reveal.
Part 3 is a collection of missing scenes from the original story, while Parts 4 ('how it could have gone') and 5 ('another way it could have gone') are outtakes and depict two different scenarios where the reveal of Buck and Evan being the same person go a different way.
Part 2 'oh captain my captain' is a prequel and shows the 118 meeting Bobby and then later on Evan.
Part 6 'these are the days we've been waiting for' is the story of Buck's first day at the 118.
Part 7 'may you live in interesting times' is a sequel to that takes place about a year or so later, and Part 8 'I once was lost (but now I'm found)' directly follows on and is a full-length sequel and prequel to the main story.
This series as it is now is standalone and can be considered complete. The only reason I haven't marked it as such is because I do expect to be adding additional installments at some point in the future. Happy reading!

Fuck, he couldn’t let Hollander see him like this.
An echo of his fathers voice played in his head, “ты слаб, Ilya.” You are weak.
——
Ilya has a hard time accepting help from anyone, especially when he’s sick. Good thing Shane Hollander doesn’t take no for an answer.
