Summary
“We have a Jedi too!” The kid exclaimed, face lighting up with joy and awe. “A really real one from the Core, and he stayed to help even when the older ones left!”
Cody’s breath caught in his throat. In the corner of his eye, he could see Boil’s hands faintly shaking.
(Sometimes, second chances don't need explanations.)

Summary
Further down the hall, Shmi could see the dark and sandy heads of Kitster and Anakin sitting within a circle of Jesse’s brothers, laughing as they shared food and stories alike. “And thank you for this, as well.”
Unlike others she’d thanked throughout the night, who simply shrugged it off with brief comments about 'being in the right place at the right time', Jesse went quiet.
“...we followed a man named Skywalker,” he eventually said. “Before, before something went wrong. And we wound up here.”

Summary
Two things became very clear, in the aftermath of breaking up the courtyard battle. First and foremost, the Jedi they’d assisted were nothing like Krell, because the older one - male, human, Coruscanti accent - smiled at them with sheer relief in his eyes, and thanked each of the troopers personally, asking for their names one by one.
The second thing they learned came from the smaller Jedi - female, near-human species, inflections in her voice that matched the locals - when 4418 asked for an update on the status of the war, to which she asked, “What war?”

Summary
Cursing, the human cast his gaze upwards - and spotted the two boys watching.
He blinked. They blinked back.
He frowned. Feral lifted a hand to wave.
Savage grabbed Feral’s hand and tugged the smaller boy partially behind himself.
The human huffed.

Summary
“An issue has arisen concerning the Mid Rim world of Naboo, which is under Trade Federation blockade,” Plo explained, tapping at the datapad. “Jedi negotiation has been requested by the Senate. The Council had thought to send Master Qui-gon Jinn, due to his experience with such matters, but-”
“-but he doesn’t have any troopers attached to him,” Wolffe realized. “Are we anticipating this turning into a military confrontation?”
“There has been, to put it simply, a collective bad feeling,” his Jedi demurred.
“Ah. I’ll tell the boys to pack, then."

Summary
Just as she turned and took a step towards the front door, however, the panels slid open to admit a tiny child who darted forward heedlessly. Yelping, Ursa twisted and barely managed to avoid tripping over him; the sudden noise and movement startled the adiik, though, and in his attempt to avoid collision, the little boy wound up crashing against Jango’s armored shins.
He fell back to land solidly on his butt, mouth open in an ‘oh’ of surprise.
Boba cursed and knelt, absolutely certain they were about to deal with a small explosion of tears. But the kid further surprised him, by just staring with wide blue-green eyes, first at one Mando and then the others.

Summary
Pirates were an unfortunate fact of life on Ryloth.
Though the twi’lek species lived on nearly as many planets throughout the galaxy as humans, their original homeworld remained relatively poor in wealth, if not population. Located at the intersection of two hyperlanes, one of which was the far-reaching Corellian Run that went all the way up into the Core, Ryloth’s greatest assets were her spaceports, and her people.
Hence the regular raids, when crews made up of the worst sort of scum sought to turn a quick profit, by kidnapping as many twi’leks as they could before high-tailing it to the nearest slave markets. The people of course developed what defensive tactics they could: towns built within canyons, clan homes carved into mountain sides, some families living nomadically across the desert expanses.
Cham Syndulla took a more aggressive approach.

Ahsoka fell forward with a half-giddy laugh, pressing her forehead against the wall. “This is your chance,” she whispered, “All of you. This is a chance, to seize your own lives. Take it. Please take it - and may the Force be with you.”

Summary
“Easy, cadet,” Alpha rumbles, trying to sound as non-intimidating as possible. Which. May have been something of a lost cause, but it's the thought that counts, right? “Don’t bite me and I won’t bite you.”
The kid bares their teeth and snarls again.
“Yeah, normally I’d say good for you, acting vicious, but right now I don’t know where I am or how I got here, and I’m not in the mood to play along.”
