Wilbur was tired of being a hero.
He liked to believe that he was a good hero, but being a good hero wasn’t enough. It was never enough. Always compared to his twin brother, the golden child of the Minecraft Hero Family.
Wilbur lived in Techno’s shadow. He hated it so much and he wasn’t sure how much more he could take.
He wanted to be seen for who he was.
He was Wilbur goddamn Minecraft, and he refused to let himself be a side note in someone else’s story.Villains had one right; the right to choose a nemesis.
A thesis to their anti-thesis. A rival.
His subordinates always questioned why he chose Magpie. He never bothered to explain.
He had met the hero once, and that was all it took.
The eldest of the Minecraft children was so much more than anyone realized. There was a deep running fury hidden under his mask. The hero was fast approaching his breaking point.
That, is why Quackity chose him. Wilbur Minecraft was going to fall soon, and he was going to fall hard.
And Quackity would be right there waiting, ready to catch his songbird when he did.Series

Summary
Me and my friends decided that it was canon in the Perspective Series that people would totally write fanfiction and ship Heroes and Villains. Because let's be honest, if we had actual villains/heroes in our world we'd find ways to ship their personas together.
We've decided to write these random ass fics and comment threads based on Acepie, the ship of Wilbur and Quackity's hero/villain personas. Because this idea was seriously too funny to pass up.
Note: This is an AU of YWNMTBAH. The idea that there are people that write fanfiction in the universe about heroes and villains is canon, but this AU is different in the way that, in the main series, Wilbur does not WRITE fanfiction. In this AU he writes it. In fact, his user will be mentioned a few times (we'll let you guess which one). But in the main series he doesn't write it.Series

He stared into the mirror, his true face staring back at him. Fanged mouth twisted into a deep frown as a few tears slid from his blue eyes. The slit of his pupil was so fine he could barely see it, the dream weighing heavy in the forefront of his mind.

We want you!

We love you Wilbur!The changeling broke into more tears as the phantom voices of blue-eyed drones echoed through his thoughts. The sounds of their buzzing wings haunting him. The faint, barely existent touch of their claws trying to pull him into the hive, into their embrace.
His instincts were getting out of control...he can't keep doing this...
A sob escaped his chest, ugly and twisted with the buzzing echo of his inhuman voice.
There was a knock on the door, "Wilbur? Are you alright? I felt you getting up earlier."
The changeling cast a desperate glance at his reflection in the mirror.
