It's Christmas time for the people of Hawkins, and after some smart kids, weird teens, and some concerned parents beat up some demo dogs and burned the tunnels that led to an alternate dimension under their hometown, what's better than coming together to enjoy the Hawkins Middle School Snow Ball.
This is a three-parter and this first chapter will be Robin's POV as she becomes more than a babysitter and ties some loose thread with a girl she used to call a press.

It's 1985 and summer is in the air. Eddie Munson is finally graduating thanks to his right-hand woman Robin Buckley who is still tied to her duties in her hell, Hawkins High School. It's not all bad though as she is not alone. She has Chrissy Cunningham who for whatever reason thinks she and Eddie and their friends and family are cool. Oh yeah, and Steve Harrington. even less of a douche since he decided he wanted to be with people he felt safe with and actually liked him. He doesn't know why Eddie makes him feel safe but he's not gonna question it. Oh yeah, and there's a new mall Hawkins is building for some reason and it's very unimportant.

Summary
After the very memorable Fourth of July of 1985, Robin Buckley tries her best to comfort her sort of not clearly said but very much girlfriend Chrissy Cunningham whose mourning people she never really knew, while Robin deals with her own guilt and grief for those around her while keeping it most to herself. Meanwhile, Eddie Munson is learning what it means to have a boyfriend, Steve is also along for that lesson, though they to find it uncomfortable being in the honeymoon phase while Hawkins spread a gloom around them, and their not sure how long that's gonna last.
