Following the aftermath of Ghost’s drop right in the middle of their mission, Soap wants nothing more than to comfort him and make sure he feels safe. It’s a promise, wrapped in pink and gifted to him like it’s the easiest thing in the world, like he deserves it. And maybe he does, if Soap could ever convince him of such a thing. Perhaps pink isn’t such a bad omen after all.
