Summary
Merlyn's mother dies the day she's born. She's raised in a castle by her noble father. She strives to prove herself to him, show that she's capable of doing anything. But nothing ever works. So she runs away to Camelot in the hopes of becoming a knight. If she can succeed, her father will surely love her then. She'll make him proud.
So, basically Merlin goes to Camelot, disguised as a dude to try and become a knight.
