Arthur didn’t bring any other weapons with him today. Merlin hunched his shoulders, hating the feeling of the man touching him. “You tryna die? Stop squirming! Or would you like to say some last words to your mate?”
Merlin gasped for air as the man’s hand left his face. “Let him kill me!” he screamed.

Summary

merlin clutched arthur’s hand to his chest as he sobbed, his pale cheeks growing cold as pure wind blew across his face and chilled his tears. the sentence itself nearly brought arthur to hysterics, lying there with a wound to his abdomen that burnt like salty tears in a cut. his blond hair being pressed into the ground while merlin held him close, panting as he spoke.
a slight scoff left arthur, full of love, “merlin you are not a sorcerer.” he knew merlin like the blade of his sword, slicing everything he did in half - the other side of his coin. he squeezed slightly at merlin’s chest, “i would know.”
