“I was just thinking,” Laios said, leaning back in his seat with his arms folded on his chest and his eyes screwed up to the ceiling. This is how it always started. Kabru braced himself for an explanation. “You're a couple years younger than me, right? And you've already done so many things that I still haven't. It doesn't make me feel bad or anything, at least most of the time. I never thought that I needed to be kissing anybody. I figured that nobody would want to do it with me so I just didn't think about it.” He tapped his fingers on his forearm and puffed out his cheeks. “You know what I mean? It's not that I don't want to. I heard it's nice. It was just better not to think about it. But now,” he went on vaguely, “I guess I kinda have to.”

“I knowwww. But,” Laios pursed his lips and crossed his arms over his chest. “Just knowing that doesn't help me. When I was learning healing magic, Marcille told me not to be embarrassed, because it would only get in the way. And I tried, really hard. I got better at it with time,” he went on, subconsciously stroking his forearms with his hands, “but it still felt a little wrong. I never wanted to risk making anyone uncomfortable when I healed them. But maybe me being nervous rubbed off on them and only made it worse. So I tried to stop. Anyway,” he said, lightly shaking his head, “I guess it's not the same thing, but I feel just like I did back then. I know I'm supposed to be using my hands,” he said, putting them up, “but I have no idea how to do it right.”

“Oh, yes. As I said, it feels like forbidden knowledge in a sense. It's quite absurd.” He shook his head lightly, and suddenly his expression seemed more relaxed as he smiled at Laios, poking his cheek with his index finger. “Well, that's good news for you, isn't it? If you learn all about it from me, it will put you ahead of quite a lot of people. I would go so far as to say,” he went on, chuckling as he sent Laios a wink, “that it might be the most important skill a lover can have.”
Laios' heart skipped a beat when Kabru winked at him, and he jumped in his seat at the words that followed. It sounded like he was about to learn something important. Hopefully he could get it right. How nice it was of Kabru to want to share that knowledge with him! It seemed that he really was excited to help, too, which put Laios at ease. It made the exercise seem far less intimidating. “Wow, really?” he said in awe, eyes twinkling as he looked up at Kabru's smiling face. “I hope I can get it right,” he added sheepishly, tapping his fingers together. “It sounds hard.”

Kabru chuckled, putting his hand up to his mouth. Perhaps if that could make him laugh, what Laios did wasn't that much of a problem. That was a relief. “I know you do. I like it too. It's quite a pleasant sensation, isn't it? It's because the lips are very sensitive.” He subconsciously stroked his bottom lip with his index finger. His lips were very soft, as if they were made for kissing. Laios couldn't help but admire them while Kabru spoke. “In any case, it's good news for you that today, you will be using your lips a lot. I don't think.” he added, with another playful chuckle, “that you will need me to encourage you to do what you have to do, but I will guide you if I have to.”

Sudden anger surged within Kabru and briefly twisted his expression into a frown. This was exactly the response he expected, but it infuriated him all the same. “This is exactly why I find it necessary to return the favour today. What you just said proves to me that there are so many things you don't understand about making love. Kabru flicked his wrist dismissively. “Oh, don't worry about things like that,” he said, taking a seat beside Laios on the bed. “It may sound complicated, I suppose, if you think about all the parts of the process, but in practice, it's quite simple. As long as you put your penis in the correct hole,” he chuckled, patting Laios on the shoulder, “it should be easy from there. And I will make sure you get it right, so you needn't worry about that, either.” He began unbuttoning the front of Laios' shirt for him as he spoke. “In a sense, it's much simpler than everything we've done before, with the exception of kissing, of course. Once you're in, just move your hips back and forth until you ejaculate. If you don't particularly enjoy the experience, that's all you need. After all, while I've been teaching you everything I know,” he mused, guiding Laios' shirt off his shoulders, “truthfully, all you need to know is how to make an heir, right? Well, this is it.”

This, at least, was how he hoped it would go. The longer this experiment went on, the more he couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong, wrong with him specifically. This was simply because with every exercise, it became increasingly obvious that Laios didn't need that much teaching, after all. He needed encouragement, yes. He was awfully insecure in his own abilities, and deathly afraid of doing something wrong and making his lover uncomfortable as a result. He needed encouragement, and he needed to be told what one wanted from him, but once he was convinced that what he was doing was not just acceptable but pleasant, he transformed into a wonderful lover in the blink of an eye. Kabru didn't need to test him at all, and he knew that. But he also knew that Laios would be disappointed if he didn't get just one more chance to touch him after this.

“Could you pretend,” Laios said, looking out the window, “that we're married?” He anxiously tapped his fingers on the table. “That's what you're preparing me for, right? I don't know why,” he murmured, scratching his cheek, “but I think it'd help me if it felt more real.”
“Oh? That's unexpected.” Kabru covered his mouth and giggled. “You want me to play your wife?”
“No.” Laios shook his head. “I want you to be yourself. Just act like we're married.”
