Summary
“The Greatest of the Greeks could perhaps do better,” Patroclus says.
Zagreus sinks to the ground. The waters of the Styx rise around his body, red as the blood he inexplicably bleeds. “I’ll tell him you said that,” are his final words, almost drowned out by the shades and their bloodthirsty cheering.
An AU with Patroclus as the Champion of Elysium. In Zagreus’s blood splattered on the eternally green fields of Elysium, Achilles finds an opportunity to catch Patroclus’s attention.

Summary
Behind him, footsteps. And a voice says, “You’re the shoemaker?”
There is a moment where Patroclus only has the impression of gold—golden curls resting against broad tanned shoulders and a gold circlet hidden in his hair—before separate features emerge to create the image of a prince, finely albeit simply dressed in a white shirt tucked into a pair of dark blue pants.
“The shoemaker’s apprentice,” Patroclus corrects him gently. He bows just a little. Green eyes watch as he does. “I’m here to take some measurements. For your new—” His eyes fall on the prince’s feet and the words die in his throat. He’s wearing a heavy wooden shoe on his left foot and a cloth slipper on the other. Patroclus tries to take it in stride but finds himself looking questioningly at the prince.
“You are curious about my shoe,” the prince says. His voice is perfectly steady, unreadable.
In the tiny kingdom of Phthia, a golden prince is cursed with invulnerability except for a vulnerable heel. An exile apprenticed to a shoemaker is commissioned by the palace to create a shoe the prince can fight in.
A fairy tale about a curse, a magical shoe, a war, a doomed hero, an exile, destiny, and love despite everything.

Summary
Achilles places his hand over Zagreus’s heart. It pounds under his palm. Blood rushes through this warm body. Achilles has seen enough blood to last a thousand thousand lifetimes but finds himself drawn to it now, that jumping pulse on the side of his neck, the promise of life barely contained in this strange and beautiful body. He kisses the pulse, feels it flickering under his mouth, and whispers into the echoes of the god’s heartbeat, “Let him kiss you here.”
A love letter is sent from the depths of Hades’s House. Somewhere along the banks of the Lethe, someone accepts.

Summary
“There are two races left,” Odysseus says, his voice barely above a whisper, snatched out of his mouth and weaving in and out and around the crowd that presses in waves of Ferrari red and Mercedes black and Red Bull blue. “Achilles needs to be there for at least one, otherwise we’re cooked.”
After Achilles unexpectedly storms off the track during the last race of the World Championship, Patroclus is tasked by members of his own team and beyond to bring him back to the race as the threat of a Trojan victory looms.
