Amidst the chaos of setting up for the winter party, she had completely forgotten about that.

During the survivors of the killing game's seasonal celebration of life, Kaede tells Rantaro about the thing she's seen watching her in the woods. And tonight, maybe she'll finally be able to figure out what it is.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, Kokichi thinks that maybe going out alone with a serial killer in town might not have been the brightest idea.

When Shuichi didn't answer his door for training, Maki wasn't too concerned. She figured he must be feeling sick. After what happened during the third trial, she wouldn't be surprised.
It's what she finds outside that makes her worried. In just the few hours it had been left unattended, the courtyard had become an overgrown, tangled mess of plants. Anything, anything, could be lurking in there.
And the shadows are a perfect place for a predator to hide.

Summary
So, vampires. Most people weren’t sure if they were still even alive, let alone if they existed in the first place. They were almost as unheard of as angel dragons– an urban legend, so to say. Depending on who you asked, their description might differ here and there, but a few things were commonly agreed upon.
One, vampires drank blood. Two, vampires were very physically attractive.
And three, vampires were notoriously ruthless.
