Mydei keeps pushing. He’s at his limit. Sweat dots his forehead. He can’t possibly take more.
And yet Mydei keeps going, pressing even deeper, taking up space Phainon doesn’t have to give.
“W-wait.”
“There’s no going back now, my love.”
Tears spill down his cheeks. It’s too much; he’s going to choke on it, he’s too open, too filled.
“I can’t.”
“You can. And you will. You were made for this.”
Phainon wakes up without any memory of what happened, chained up and at Mydei’s mercy.

Lately, he hasn’t been sleeping well.
Phainon sighs deeply as he tosses around, struggling to find a comfortable position. He’s never been a great sleeper, but lately it feels like things have been spiralling out of control.
Night after night he wakes up screaming, sweaty, disoriented as to where he is. His heart beats wildly, his head pounds, his body trembling all over. It is as if an unseen presence is looming over him, always waiting, watching.
