Summary
One day. One day, he’d do something about this burn in him. One day, he’d find the strength to tell Ava how he felt, explain how he couldn’t do it sooner, and let her laugh and mock his cowardice, that laugh of hers that drove him wild. One day, she would see him for who he was; bleeding heart in his steady hands, nerves swallowed and forgotten. When he could finally accept that he may get rejected, he would tell her.
