Summary
“I love you too, Tim,” he said, his voice thick with a decade of unspoken emotion, with ten months of silent, desperate prayer.
“That’s what I was going to tell you the second I got back. That was the plan. That was the only thing that kept me going in that place. The thought of coming home… to you.”

He pulled back, looking at Kon’s chest. "Kon?"
"Yeah, Tim?" Kon looked down, his expression pure and loving.
"Your heart… it sounds… weird."
Kon laughed, a light, airy sound. "That’s just because I’m crazy about you, Rob. It’s doing a happy dance."

Summary
Dick exchanged a wide-eyed look with Jason. "You know about it?"
"Of course I know about it," Tim said, sounding annoyed. He took another sip of coffee. "I have been researching it for three days. It is fascinating. The resource signaling, the spatial arrangements. The deliberate curation of a safe environment."
I slapped a hand over my mouth to muffle the sound of my own shock.
Jason stared at Tim. "You researched his culture? You actually looked up the rituals?"
"You think I’m an idiot like you guys?" Tim said dryly. "I have a deadline. The whole thing is incredibly meticulous. The construction of the spaces requires specific color-coding and environmental control to reduce cognitive load for the intended partner."

// CAREGIVER SHAME FRAMEWORK // WEEK 26 // SOURCE: Leslie Thompkins confrontation Problem: Primary caregiver uses shame as organizing principle for medical meaning. Observed distortions: - Baby’s lung development interpreted as reenactment of Conner’s final respiratory failure. - Project Chimera failed proto-respiratory structures interpreted as morally equivalent to child harm. - Current developmental progress interpreted as accusation. - Medical oversight experienced as exposure/punishment. - Guilt mistaken for ethical clarity. Corrective statements: - Shame is not automatically moral clarity. - Not every harm centers Tim. - Accurate categorization protects the baby from inherited guilt. - Lung maturation is development, not confession. - The child is growing, not testifying. Primary directive: Do not make the baby’s body speak your shame.Series
