Summary
Carthak is weakened by worsening famine, and in the fall of 455 H.E., the time seems finally right for a treaty. Daine and her former teacher, Lindhall Reed, have been asked to join the diplomatic mission in order to investigate a plague that is running rampant through the Imperial Menageries and Aviaries.
Alternate timeline, covers some Emperor Mage-ish plot points before diverging. Eventual D/N. Mostly T-rated, but M for a couple of chapters in particular - see chapter notes for specific warnings.
