Summary
It was almost midnight when the noise started. It hit Peter right in the auditory cortex, quiet, insistent, whining but somehow also melodic, in the upper ranges of his hearing. He paused his patrol for a moment on the side of a building and closed his eyes to listen more carefully. It was probably out of reach of most humans, but a few dogs barked in the distance. He followed the sound, swinging above the late-night streets, still alert for any signs of trouble.
It was coming from a warehouse by the docks in Hell’s Kitchen. The Devil’s territory. Peter hadn’t met Daredevil, and he was pretty sure he wanted it to stay that way. Sure, he admired the man (was he even a man? The jury was out on that one) for his alleged takedowns of mob bosses, and the Bulletin had mentioned something about ninjas, which Peter thought was seriously cool, but come on, he was scary. Like – really scary. In a way that your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man was resolutely not. And never would be, thank you very much.
For all that the papers seemed to like the Devil better.

Summary
Peter knew where Daredevil lived now. He wouldn’t go there, obviously. He didn’t want to die. So he decided the best way to ingratiate himself with the Devil was to chase crooks just a little too far over the border from Midtown, then leave them webbed up in an alley somewhere. Gifts. Like a cat. Ned thought this was hilarious.
It worked, too. After the third time, the Devil came to find him. Or rather, the Devil was cosplaying a gargoyle on the roof Peter was about to land on on his way out of the Kitchen.
“What are you doing, kid?”
“Train me?”
“How about no?”
“Aww, come on!”
“I can assure you, there are better gifts than bicycle thieves if you’re trying to court someone. Kids these days...”
With that he was gone. Ninja.
Next time, Peter brought him a mugger.

Summary
Stark got to the kid a month into their training together. He was starstruck, and ran to gush to Matt before heading off to Germany.
“You did what? He did what? You’re going where?”
“I couldn’t exactly say no. And he gave me this suit!”
“Have you even read the Accords?”
“Uh… Accords?”
“Right. Come on. We’re going to see Foggy.”
“Oh, Pete.” Foggy said. “You know he can’t legally do that, right? You don’t have to go with him if you don’t want to.”
“But I do. Kind of. It’s Mr. Stark. He’s a hero.”
“Hmmm. Matty, get out the big binder. We’re doing this properly.”
Peter goes to try and stop civil war. It goes predictably badly. He's going to need a lawyer

Summary
“Sure,” Peter said. “Why not? Glitter grenade.”
“We can make this a real party!!” Deadpool spread his arms out and started spinning, like a little kid playing airplanes, in a world of his own. Peter decided the only way to deal with the chaos was just run with it. That seemed to be Matt's policy, although he did wonder if maybe following Matt's policy here was a bad idea. Matt apparently knew this man. His common sense was suspect.

“Seriously, I’m fine!” He suddenly softened. “Sorry, Miss Page.” He started to sniffle, and tried to stop himself, but suddenly Matt was there, guiding him into his office.
“You’re not fine, kiddo. What’s wrong?”
“May- my aunt- found out about Spider-Man.”

Summary
Absolutely no one asked for this, but it makes me happy
“Pancake Race: a race in which each competitor must toss a pancake from a pan as they run, traditionally held in some places on Shrove Tuesday.”
That thing that Matt Murdock would absolutely force Peter Parker to do over rooftops. Or possibly the other way around

Summary
Steve looked up to see a soft man with hair that reminded him of Bucky’s, but blond and better kept. He was wearing a suit with the air of someone who wears suits because it is part of their job, not because they particularly want to.
His tie had dinosaurs on it.
He held out a hand for Steve to shake: “Foggy Nelson.”
“Steve Rogers.”
“What can I do you for, Mr. Rogers? Before Karen accidentally poisons you with her atrocious coffee.”
The woman in question threw a little rubber duck at him. It bounced off his shoulder. Nelson ignored it, so Steve decided it was probably a common occurrence. In all honesty, Steve thought he probably deserved it, but he hadn't tried the coffee yet.
“I’m not actually here for myself," he said. "My friend, James Barnes. Spider-Man said you guys could help.”
From what he'd seen so far, he wasn't convinced.
In which Nelson and Murdock are set to defend Bucky Barnes for the Winter Soldier's crimes, and nothing ever goes smoothly.
