Summary
"Aw, is Sakura-kun worried about me?", Suo is careful to make the words sound natural but he's tired. His brain feels a little like it's been run through a meat grinder and his legs are trembling very faintly, so it's not as convincing as he'd like it to be.
Frustrated, he curses himself. This was a terrible idea, he should have never called. Suo briefly considers just hanging up, but knows Sakura would not let this go.
"Yeah", Sakura seems to force the word out, "So?"
Suo wakes up from a nightmare and in a moment of weakness, decides to call Sakura.

Summary
"I won't tell if you don't", is all he says. Then, he grabs a proper practice sword and throws it at Sakura.
"I don't need this", Sakura mumbles.
Hayato leads him back out into the open, the shadows omitting the details of Sakura's face as he stares at him. Hayato can picture his disgruntled look though, having seen it often enough.
"Try it anyway", he gets into a sparring position, bending his knees and lifting his weapon, "You might win that way."
There's a new servant boy in the castle, and Hayato is just bored enough to want to figure him out.

"A surprise?", Suo raises an eyebrow. It's clear he's trying to keep the mood light, but his posture tells Haruka he's bracing for something. Much like him, Suo is terrible at handling real emotions.
"Just -" Haruka sighs and decides to take the plunge. It's now or never.
Determined, he raises his trembling hand to detach the second button of his uniform.
"Here."
It's graduation day, and Sakura doesn't want to leave Furin without telling Suo how he feels.

"Did it hurt?", he mumbles. It's a subconscious act, the words out before Haruka knows he's going to say them. Suo raises an eyebrow.
"When I fell from heaven?"
Haruka smacks his shoulder. Or, well, he would have had Suo not swiftly moved out of the way at the last second. That slippery snake — Haruka will get him one day!
"We both know ya crawled up from hell", Haruka glares, "I meant the fuckin' earrings."
Sakura is weirdly obsessed with Suo's earrings, so Suo offers to pierce his ears for him.

Summary
"Ya know damn well what I mean", Haruka gets up to block the exit. Fine, if Suo wants to leave so badly, he better have a good reason. "Stay the night."
It's the perfect moment for lightning to strike, and it does. The dim room lights up with it, bright and sudden, making Haruka jump. Suo, of course, remains perfectly still.
"A sleepover with Sakura-kun?" Suo chuckles but it sounds hollow, enough so to make Haruka cringe. "What an honor!"
A sudden thunderstorm strands Suo at Sakura's apartment. The problem? There's only one futon.

"Uh, w-we -", Haruka waves his hands as he tries to find the right words, his face bright red. Why are their band mates so chill about this? Where's the surprise, the outrage? "'s not -"
"Thanks, Kiryu-kun", Suo chuckles. Haruka whips his head around to stare at him so fast he feels something pull painfully in his neck. "You've always been perceptive."
Annoyed by fans throwing themselves at the two of them, Sakura claims to be dating Suo. It goes about as well as one would expect.
