As a member of the God Hand, Griffith would become the new General of the Eighth Sphere of Hell's Armies in Malborgia's plans to finally triggers the Armageddon Games by simply invading Heaven. Spawn, who is the current General of that demonic kingdom's armies and who really doesn't like Griffith due to what he heard about him, takes the assignment without asking any further questions.
When these two meet, Spawn will ensure Griffith's plans to establishing his own kingdom will end in flames...and him being dead!
