When a local man is found stabbed to death in a small Canadian town - his mouth full of butter tarts! - falsely accused Wolverine teams up with 'ol Opa Kurt (Nightcrawler) to find the real killer. Set in a future where Xavier's X-Men won their Dream after a brutal, bitter Third World War (Earth 723), this stand-alone story follows my previous (complete!) story "True Love Ways."
Note: Earth 723 is something of a cross between the classic Excalibur comics and X-Men: Evolution.
