In a world without gene-wrought god-kings, what is a Night Lord to do when faced with a future he could never have anticipated? Jago Sevatar is confused why he has been given this strange opportunity, and he hates that he has been reduced to baseline human once more, but with no more gene-breed loyalty, he can confidently cast the wishes of his Primarch to the abyss. With the Nigh Haunter dead, his wishes meant nothing at all.
Instead, he has the ideal within that crystallized on board the Invincible Reason. He will continue to be Justice. He will continue to be Judgment. He will continue to be Punishment. He will continue to be a Murderer, as always.

Sevatar, as a former First Captain in charge of an entire Space Marine Legion, could appreciate Basgiath War College's thoroughness in weeding out the weak in their neophytes. The College's trials even put some Astartes Legion recruitment processes to shame in terms of sheer deadliness. That said, he wasn't as sure about the reward at the end of all of this; bonding with a semi-hostile xenos creature wasn't really his idea of a good time, but he was stuck in these close quarters with countless hormonal young, normal humans until then. Bugger.
