At the end of season 1 of the C Team, I gave some thought to how the story might end given only what we knew at the time. Of course, the actual course of the show over the next three seasons didn't resemble this at all! We still thought the Sanguilith was the Big Bad, how naive we were. But I liked working with the characters and I still think this one is a decent read.

‘Lorraine‘
She jerks up, her heart racing. Confused, she sits up a little more, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes and tries to catch her breath. It’s only semi-dark in her room, she left the bathroom light on and it takes her a moment to realize where she is. Her eyes search the darkness, there’s still the weird echo of her name in her head. But no one’s there.
Lorraine crawls to the edge of the bed, letting her feet hang off of it and forces herself to focus. She was sure she heard someone say her name. But it sounded… different. Out of breath, as if the person was in pain or something like this. Though it didn’t quite feel like agony. She grabs her watch from the nightstand, 12:23 am. No, there certainly couldn’t be someone calling her at this time. To be sure, she waits two minutes longer, listening to the ac and her rapid breath. Nothing.
’It was just a dream, relax. Nothing to worry about.’
Her body is still heavy with sleep, but right when she decides to put out the bathroom light and go back to bed, she hears it again. More urgent this time, cutoff.
