Alternatively titled "Spicy Starfire Wheel" as it is still essentially the Starfire Wheel with a tinge of romance and a whole lot of violence.
I love Minbari Civil War subplot from start to end.
However, I was a little disappointed when Shakiri turned out to be a chicken.
First, a rival like this hardly matches Delenn.
Second, I have trouble believing that a chicken could have become a War Leader in times of fierce fights between the Castes.
This story was inspired by a thought "Hey, what if Shakiri weren't a coward?"
It is a subtle AU that keeps all the main turns from the original plot and adds a bunch of new ones.Rated M, for it has a tad too much violence in it. Hey, it's a war.
