He cleared his throat imperiously, and it occurred to her that she was just sitting on the floor, looking up at him. He was clearly very rich, because aside from the shoes that she’d just ruined, he had what looked like a real silk button-up shirt and pressed dress pants. His hair was gelled back, though he used it to style his hair in a radically different way than Nellie did. He had a sharp jawline and cheekbones, though not to an alarming degree. His eyes were dark; the slight scowl on his face drew his brows down over them.
And, to top it all off, he was- “Do you have anything to say for yourself?”- British.
