Lo’ak listens to his bearer’s heart beat.

Jake can’t quite place the voice and forces himself to open his eyes.
At first everything is blurry and bright and colored blobs, but after a few blinks he can see things coming into focus.

His confusion must be evident on his face, because the tallest one leans in closer to him. “You don’t remember us, sweetheart? Kinda hurts my feelings.”

Jake avait toujours entendu une voix au fond de son esprit. Il savait qu'il n'était pas fou, cette voix lui apprenait des choses qu'il n'apprenait pas à l'école. Elle était douce et tendre, mais en même temps ferme. Elle le guidait vers un avenir qu'il savait meilleur. Jake grâce à la Grande Mère apprends très tôt à voir et à entendre, et quand son frère l'appelle pour lui annoncer que son avatar à muté pour donner un jumeau rien ne pouvait lui retirer l'excitation qu'il pouvait ressentir à ce moment.
Nous verrons donc Jake sous un autre jour, il entend, voit et marche comme un membre du Peuple, mais qu'est-ce que ça pourrait bien donner avec Tsu'tey dans l'équation? Surtout que ce dernier attire Jake comme aucun homme n'avait pu le faire auparavant. -
