Summary
In a small village tucked away under the watchful eye of Oronyx an older alpha lived a quiet life with his two adopted children. With his sword and armor traded for sickle and loom, Phainon found himself enjoying a much slower life of farming and weaving. Each day passed as simply as the next in a cycle of mundanity with his children growing older day by day. Its another one of those simple days when he has an encounter that changes his life, that brings back colors he'd thought he'd lost completely. An encounter with a man dressed in red and gold turns his life upside down and drags him away from his peaceful life and the ghosts of his past.
Will Phainon finally allow the gears of his life to turn once again? Or will he find himself stuck drowning with the ghosts of his past once more?

His eyes travel across the library, the man’s grimace turns into a small, gentle smile that he feels like he’s seen millions of times before, then his eyes fall to Mydei. The man stares at him for an uncomfortable period of time, his eyes trail him up and down, taking him in like a piece of art in a museum. It feels like he’s looking at someone he hasn’t seen in years. Then he speaks, “Are you open?” This, he knows, is the man of his dreams. Blue eyes are settled on the half-done braid in his hair.

Summary
Phainon’s eyes travel to the stars, a small smile on his face, he glows in the grass, tears prick at his eyes, and he laughs to himself. Mydei slowly sits down, and Phainon scooches himself into his lap. He smiles sadly at him, “I’m glad,” he reaches out to touch Mydei’s face, “That I can spend tonight with you.”
“What do you mean?” He doesn’t let the worry slip into his voice, not yet.
“There are too many coreflames in this body.” Phainon responds, his eyes traveling up to Mydei, “My body can’t hold them all. I’ve ushered in the Era Nova… and now, I can finally see it.”
“What do you mean?” He repeats, cupping Phainon’s face, “We can find a way to stabilize it. Anaxa can figure something else.”
“Mmm… I don’t think he can. And… something tells me that this is going to be my last conscious moment. I’ve been reliving it all, and I can’t remember the cycles; I can feel my mind crumbling. It’s scary, but sometimes, I hear your voice.”

Or, after being freed by Irontomb, Phainon's mind can't handle all of the cycles as his body begins to fail him. However, in a moment of lucidity, he chooses to spend his time with Mydei under the stars.Series

Summary
Happier Amphoreus AU in which soulmates are a thing, but only sometimes share pain.
Phainon suffers from chronic pain and Mydei still has his curse of immortality.
Phainon believes he doesn’t have a soulmate because he wasn’t born with a mark. Mydei is not on very good terms with his soulmate bond.
And Mnestia gets a jolly good show out of all of this.
Or; An AU in which Amphoreus is a normal world apart of the cosmos and has a different divine mission given by their own gods; in which Phainon is extra pathetic and happy-go-lucky, in which Mydei is slightly less talk and more aggressive in action…
AND in which humans are more cynical, and thus Mnestia turns out to be one petty bitch and decides to make everything more complicated for everyone with a heartbeat and cohesive thoughts after They get rejected by Cerces.
