Johnny and V manage the impossible: they're both alive and healthy at no immediate risk of death. Good news all around with a caveat - there are complications that come with returning from the dead.
Kerry bought up all the rights to Johnny's music and biometric data after the AHQ bombing but returning those rights turns out to be legally complicated. In short, the easiest way to do it is for them to get married with a prenup that gives Johnny his stuff back when they divorce.
Because of course they will at the end of the legally required 31 days. ... Right?

(for those who read it when it still was 24, it was my mistake!! I apologise about it)

"There’s the flutter of bright red fabric in his face as something lacy and sheer drops over the railing. “Why do you own lingerie?” The rocker sounds endlessly amused. When there’s no response, he goes to lean over the railing only to be graced with the most wonderful scene – V is clutching said lingerie at arm’s length, mouth agape, face the brightest shade of red Kerry’s probably ever been witness to coloring another human’s face. It’s rivaling the pair of panties in his hand.
“I—I—I…” He coughs and tilts his head back up to glare up at the rocker – at the absolute shit-eating grin he’s wearing. “Well, you got me there. Didn’t realize I gave you permission to dig through my shit. Do I need a special occasion?”
Kerry laughs and pushes himself away from the railing, eyeing the duffel bag that he just so happened to spot the red fabric hanging out of, wondering what else might be in its depths. He doesn’t get time to think much longer about it before V is launching himself up the stairs and tackling Kerry to the bed."
