Buckle up for a ridiculous premise, bonkers imagery, Muppet fighting logic, ethical waffling, blatant stealing of the concept of Headology, and a mish-mash of Paddington Bear and Velveteen Rabbit vibes.

"Usually the uh, the jocks don't go anywhere near the Wicca group."
Willow shrugged. "Didn't care in high school, I'm really not going to start caring now."
She leaned forward, catching the eyes of a pretty dirty blonde with a zigzag part who was very clearly smitten with her.
"Now we're here for a Wicca group, right?"
"....."
"Yeah?"
"Well how about spells?"
Silence, for a moment, then the blonde with the zig-zag part spoke up. "S-She's r-right..."

A fix-it of sorts for season 4 that introduces a new character to take over the role of big bad from Adam and the Initiative. Fairly plot driven but I love these characters and try to give them worthy arcs if I feel they lack one or it could be improved, as well as what I think might be going on inside their heads.

Summary
When the sun goes down and the shadows lengthen, Gotham becomes a jungle of opportunity. Under the blanket of night, crime and chaos rule the streets. Making even a simple errand a gamble of whether or not you'd come home that night. But things changed when sightings of a creature began to emerge. A cryptid that is only known as "The Batman" started to terrorize the criminal underworld. No one knows that this creature is. Its face and features are shrouded by cloack and night. But one thing is for certain, this being is NOT human from the many reports given to police.
This story puts a supernatural and slight horror twist on the legend of Batman while still upholding what makes Batman a hero.
A being who was born without compassion but earns it through his love for humanity. Bruce cherishes this gift and heavily guards it through his deeds under the guise of Batman. Showing more humanity than most of the humans in Batman rogues gallery.
He may never understand why some humans choose to throw away something so precious, but he will do his best to help them. Either as Batman or as Bruce Wayne.

After Drusilla is dusted by the mob in Prague, Spike must find a new reason to unlive, and eventually finds himself writing a book about Slayers. The book is good enough that it gets him invited to present at an interdimensional demon conference, one with Slayers as the topic.
In Giles's misspent youth, he once attended this conference (but with a different topic that year, of course), which enabled him to make some acquaintances among the more peaceful and intelligent demons that attend conferences. When the topic of this year's conference is announced, one of his demon acquaintances contacts Giles and suggests that he bring Buffy to the conference for a bit of show and tell.
Who is uniquely positioned to understand the realities and stresses of a Slayer's life? Why, the person who just wrote the book on them, of course. And Buffy notices...
