Summary
During the summer, at the tail end of the second semester of their freshman year of college, Wiskayok alumni Jackie Taylor and Shauna Shipman each receive a letter in the mail. The Yellowjackets girls’ soccer team is having a reunion—or, for better wording, an organized hangout.
Years have passed, but resentment still lingers between Jackie and Shauna, especially after the truth was revealed about Jeff’s infidelity and Shauna’s plans to attend Brown University. Despite the possible outcomes reeling through their minds, they both decide to go.
If it’s for the team, it’s worth it. At least, that’s what they’ll tell themselves—that it’s for the team.
