Summary
When Karl and Sapnap broke up, Karl became a mess. George and Dream stuck close to his side, wiping away his tears and helping him heal. Sapnap is strong; he can do this on his own they tell each other. But Karl was sapnaps first love and now his first heartbreak. And in an all too empty house with all too distant 'best friends' sapnap feels and is alone. Until Punz shows up with lunch and a life changing offer. Only catch, it's in California and they would need to leave now. Sapnap writes a note, leaves it on his bed as he closes the door for the very last time.

“I'll love you forever,” Karl smiles warmly. The older one wraps his pinky around Sapnap's to seal the promise. It lays gently in Sapnap's slightly bigger hand. The younger one squeezes Karl's pinky with his. A thought pops into his mind. He decides to tell Karl it, but it’s more like he’s saying it out loud for the wish to come true, “We could be the greatest.”
Karl nods softly and squeezes back. “Doesn't matter if we're never rich or famous."
Once, two teenage best friends who were forced apart one final night when hurt and lies filled the air. Now, a famous musician, touring with his best friends; only thinking of his past with music.
