Summary
If one looked at the different stories of how the Black City became Golden again, they all contained different elements of the truth, for a given level of mythological belief. But no one would know better than the two people who were closest to the source as they dreamed in the fractured, shattered reflections of red lyrium.
“So we’re in deeper waters now, as it were, being physically present in the Fade?” she asked.
He nodded.
“Well,” she said, thoughtfully, “I think I understand why you were so worried now, about me dreaming. My clan would fish in the Free Marches sometimes, in little coracles on the Waking Sea. Sometimes a squall would come up before everyone could get back to shore. More than once someone was drowned because they tried to save someone else and got pulled down too.”
“Yes,” he affirmed. “Much like that. And the mad dreams of the Titans are much greater than a squall.”

Summary
She did not have the same curl of hot desire which threaded its way through his own love, but it was open, expansive, generous. Their love was a warm hearth fire on a cold night, a refuge, something to build with. He was not surprised, now, that she had only spoken of their love, and not her own; for her love was an action, a building together of a life. It did not make sense for her to speak of her own love, when for her love was collaborative rather than singular. Solas was beginning to see what she might desire in games of sensation, continually at odds with her physical body and desirous of something she could control, when she felt too much, or perhaps something to create a map to that confusing and shifting landscape that was her body.
Bull rolled onto his back, then rubbed the base of his horn.
“You’ve gotta be shittin’ me, kadan,” he said. “You want to break into the fucking Fade? Not an expert on this Chantry bullshit, but pretty sure the last time some asshole magister tried that, we ended up with the fucking Blight.”Solas and Lavellan are figuring things out in the Fade. Her friends would like to have her back.

Summary
Dr E. Lavellan has been begging Keeper Deshanna to send an unusual Elvhen manuscript safeguarded by the clan to Denerim University, where she works, for study. If only she could have known what it would contain… and who it would bring to her doorstep.

Solas tucked a strand of silvery hair behind my ear, then pressed his lips against it.
‘Dirthara-ma’, he whispered.
His hands slipped from me, though his eyes marked the places they had been. With a measured smile, he turned, and left me there on the veranda.
'May you learn', he had told me again. But this time, it was no curse.
This time, it was a promise.

Summary
He was, perhaps, somewhat overwrought. It had been a long day. He had thought first, to die alone at the end of it, then thought, at his most optimistic, to find a chance to atone, with the memory of her forgiveness and love to sustain him in his tormented eternity alone. How unexpected, then, to find salvation, entirely unearned. But then, she had always been unexpected.
She did not know if he knew how to be kind to himself; she suspected that he had bound himself so decisively to the Veil because binding himself to the Veil was the path of greatest sacrifice, but they would work on it. They had time.

Summary
Lavellan had never confronted Solas about his opposition of her; she had simply hoped that time would make him more agreeable. Of course, her naivety would come back and bite her in the ass. It seemed, even when her decisions were to his liking he had something to complain about, and Lavellan was reaching her limit of not calling him out on it.
A story were Solas and Lavellan are at each others throats, but as they get to know each other better they turn out more alike than they both thought. Dialogue and story is non-canon although I try to keep most characters as true to the game as possible. In some instances I use lore as inspiration and not facts. English is not my first language so please be kind about grammatical errors.
