Corre el año 2025. Hace ocho años, Gastón partió rumbo a Oxford, tras una ruptura dolorosa pero con la promesa de un amor que resistiría la distancia. Fue Nina quien, en un acto desesperado por no truncar su futuro, lo inscribió a escondidas. Sin embargo, en una inesperada visita a Buenos Aires, Gastón puso fin a su historia con Nina, dejándola con el corazón roto.
Desde entonces, las parejas de su grupo de amigos han crecido y se han fortalecido: Matteo y Luna, Ámbar y Simón, Delfi y Pedro, Yam y Ramiro, Jim y Nico… todos menos Nina, que quedó atrapada en una relación tóxica con Eric, un hombre que sabe disfrazar su manipulación con falsas lágrimas.
