A dimension-crossing-time-travel portal experiment goes wrong, sending Luz and all her friends into the distant past of Earth with no way to return back to the point they left. As they try to navigate a world alien to them all and find a way back to the present, with minimal supplies and only their palismen to help them, not knowing if those they left behind on the Boiling Isles can help them to get back or not, they meet some unexpected new friends along their journey.
Or: Luz and her friends accidentally time travel to prehistoric Earth and get stuck in the past (and this somehow actually works as a crossover, what?)

When Shorty and Ali both happen to visit the Great Valley at the same time, the gang of seven, Littlefoot, Cera, Ducky, Petrie, Spike, Chomper and Ruby, are thrilled at this rare treat. But a sudden rain causes their mood to be dampened, literally, and they decide to explore the Secret Caverns as a way of escaping the rain, but they get lost after taking a wrong turn after coming back from playing in the Cave of Many Voices. Now they find themselves in dark, tight tunnels, lost, deep underground, without food or water, and they learn they're not alone. The horror story begins when they come upon an intelligent horror that lives in the dark and knows the caves down to the last pebble. Now the gang must outwit these new terrifying foes, unlike any other they have faced, and escape, but all the dark tunnels look the same, and many lead to dead ends. And, at the worst time possible, they find themselves split up. How far can they go to protect one another, trapped so far underground, with something stalking them in a sick game of cat and mouse. The end prize is simple, death or freedom. Isolated, cut off, and pushed to their absolute extremes with no possibility of help, will they ever see the Bright Circle again?

Littlefoot was born in the Great Valley, and if his grandparents had their say in it, that's where he would die. Resigned to his lot in life, the young adult accepted he'd have to bear the burden his coming of age day offered: eternal servitude as a cleric for the Great Spirit, Contentment.
Or so he expected, anyway. When a beast appeared upon the valley wall, body marred by scars and speaking in their tongue despite the fact its teeth were as jagged as broken stones, Littlefoot found that, perhaps, things were not as black and white as he once thought. And maybe the Great Spirits weren't all that indomitable or benevolent, either.

Life in The Great Valley has been prosperous for years. Since we last saw Littlefoot and his gang, they've now grown up, started families, and subtle starts of Carnivore and Herbivore understanding are popping up across parts of the world. But then one sudden night, in place of the meteor that killed all the Dinosaurs, instead a meteor impact creates and awakens a deadly new giant, who's presence and actions forever will change the world, especially for Dinosaur Kind.
Follow Littlefoot, Chomper, and the others, with at least 1 guest appearance from as many Land Before Time characters as possible, and some OCs, as they endure the following years of their lives, doing their best to survive the most chaotic incidents in Earth's history, starting off with just rediscovered freakish giant species, and then a evil force from outer space, with freaky creations of their own.
By the end of these adventures, the iconic cast roster will be quite different, with gradually old leads xed off, and newcomers joining. It's gonna be a wild tale.
