I’m sorry, I deleted the previous version of this. I got scared of the hate bots and pulled the story down before I really had time to think about it. But I’ve brought it back now, polished, expanded, and closer to the vision it was meant to be.
This series follows Stillknight, a silent Guardian from an ancient Cybertronian order, as she watches over Earth in the shadows. Her path crosses with the Rescue Bots and the Autobots of Team Prime when a human life is threatened, drawing her out of secrecy and into a world already struggling with its own battles.
What begins as a rescue becomes something deeper: a story about oaths, humanity, the weight of history, and the quiet strength of a Knight who protects life at all costs.
No prior knowledge of the larger Knight of the Temple series is required to follow this crossover, and this version avoids spoilers for the main storyline. It focuses instead on Cody, the Rescue Bots, and the mystery surrounding this world’s Guardian... one who does not speak, but whose actions echo far beyond words.

This takes place shortly after issue #12 of Skybound's Transformers series. The Autobots managed to stop Shockwave's plan of siphoning Earth's energy resources to send to Cybertron. In this brief moment of quiet, Spike tries to fill his day on the Ark while everyone else is working purposefully toward their own necessary goals. He takes a moment and writes in his mother's journal a "basic family update" entry.
Beachcomber comes in and sits next to Spike. Their relationship is slowly building from "rescuer and rescuee" to something more toward genuine friendship. Beachcomber offers ways that Spike could help the Autobots and Spike gives advice about a secret Beachcomber is still holding on to.
Finally, the story ends with Spike and Carly. Their relationship faces its first major challenge as both are going down vastly different paths regarding how they area dealing with their grief, not to mention different college paths. But that's still in the future. What they choose to hold on to is the "now."

This takes place between issue #7 and issue #8 of the Transformers Energon universe. Before Spike and Carly fully joined the Autobots on the Ark, both had to face the realities of returning to their homes. Carly and Spike both find themselves inheriting their father's homes. While both are dealing with the very different circumstances of the loss of their father, Spike faces a future where walking is no longer a possibility.
While this unfolds, both Carly and Spike express doubts about whether Arcee will return to pick them up, given how dangerous things currently are for the Autobots who are just recovering from a major battle.
