Ding!
…What?
Kim Dokja felt his face pale. There's no way, he thought.
Left hand holding the W key to get back to his team, Kim Dokja shakily picked up his phone.

>> Kim Dokja I will kill you. ⌋
“Yoo Joonghyuk-ssi…” Kim Dokja laughed nervously. “There's no need to send me death threats.”
“I know where you live,” was all Yoo Joonghyuk said, face blank.
After hitting 1,000,000 followers on Twitch, Kim Dokja has to climb to the highest rank in a hero shooter game—far different from his usual story game. Aggravated after he loses a game because of Yoo Joonghyuk, he swears to enact revenge.
Yoo Joonghyuk, on the other hand, has a different plan.

Bookmarker's Notes
“Wait,” Kim Dokja said, stilling. “You’ve been hitting on me for six months?”
Yoo Joonghyuk blinked at him. “Yes.”
“Oh my God.”
“You’re such a fool,” sighed Yoo Joonghyuk, pulling Kim Dokja in to kiss him lightly on the lips. “I can’t believe I fell in love with such an idiot.”
“Y–you’re in love with me?” Kim Dokja asked, voice cracking.
“Oh, my God,” Han Sooyoung, Yoo Sangah, and Yoo Joonghyuk groaned in unison.
If there's a hundred fics of oblivious dokja, I'd hope there was 101 of them instead. If there's a thousand of them, I'd pray for a thousand and one. Will this trope ever get old? Hellfuckingnogrrrrwoofahshsjejje

Summary
There were a handful of truths Kim Dokja was clinging onto by the tips of his frozen fingers.
One, he had woken up one day in a dimly lit cabin. Two, whoever had lived in the cabin before him was not happy. And three, between going to bed and waking up, he found himself in a completely new world.Bookmarked by 381042

Bookmarker's Notes
“I really can’t go.”
“And why not? There isn’t anything keeping you here. We can keep you safe.”
“It’s not about being safe it’s about—”
“I would like it if you came,” Captain stated, smoothly interrupting ahjussi. There was the sound of the ladle being pulled out of the pot. “And I would like it if you stayed.”
The gentle sound of the ladle being placed in a clean bowl. “Is it strange to say I feel like I’ve known you before?”
More silence. Another sigh.
“No, it isn’t,” ahjussi replied softly. It sounded like a secret, uttered only between the two of them in between the pops of firewood burning and the gentle bubbling of a shared meal. Yoosung could hear their bowls and spoons clattering as they were organized. Was that the end? Adults certainly had some strange conversations. One of the best fantasy isekai joongdok fics ever. Such a different take on it.

Summary
Unfortunately, thirty minutes into the party, his glass of mojito has nearly run dry, Sooyoung and Sangah aren’t here yet, and somebody slides into the seat next to him. He’s so absorbed in the webnovel he’s reading that he doesn’t even look their way, but then that person clears their throat, catching his attention anyway.
When Dokja does look up, three scenes pop up in his head:
- Han Sooyoung, earlier this week, saying there’s a limit to how much you can run away;
- Han Sooyoung, this morning, saying you’ll regret this; and
- Himself, two years ago in Toronto, saying, I don’t think I can do this anymore, Yoo Joonghyuk.
or: Kim Dokja's convoluted relationship with figure skating and Yoo Joonghyuk told through a love story that spans fourteen years.

Bookmarker's Notes
Joonghyuk doesn't elaborate on the whole retirement deal. Instead, he jumps onto another topic. “You should be in Milan too. I'll watch you medal, for real, this time.” His hold on Dokja’s waist tightens. “After that, we’ll move away from Toronto. Victoria is the mildest Canada gets. Vancouver is a bit colder, but it's more urban; you choose. In the meantime, we’ll figure out how to keep you healthy in Toronto.” Joonghyuk is rambling, is he nervous?
“Joonghyuk—”
“You want to stay in Seoul? Han Sooyoung and your mom would be closer. We'd still come home often even if we moved to BC, though.”
Dokja cuts Joonghyuk off with a kiss straight on his lips, before softly murmuring, “Vancouver is fine.”
Joonghyuk doesn’t pull away from Dokja when he replies, “Really?”
Dokja nods. “We would get to be married, there.”
Joonghyuk is wide-eyed for a second before he shuts his eyes and huffs. “And this is a proposal?”
“Not yet, pretty boy,” Dokja says, patting Joonghyuk's face. “But just to be clear, you are promised to me now. The real thing will have to wait until after we get our Olympic medals, though.”
“It’ll both be gold.” Joonghyuk replies. -

Bookmarker's Notes
Joonghyuk starts moving his feet to initiate the actual dancing, but he is interrupted by Dokja clumsily stepping on his toes. Dokja looks down at their feet in guilt and turns his face back up to Joonghyuk to apologize. Only the first syllable manages to make it out of his mouth before Joonghyuk cuts him off with a soft kiss on the lips.
Dokja feels his face go warm and bites his lower lip, only for it to be kissed again. “Don’t bite it.” Joonghyuk scolds him. “Just focus.”
Joonghyuk starts leading the way for a dance again, slowly, and Dokja follows carefully.
Married joongdok. Slow dancing. Sweet sweet motherfuckers, I love them. I love this fic.

Bookmarker's Notes
“One thousand, eight hundred and sixty-four times.”
Kim Dokja feels a chill go down his spine. He feels a foreboding sense of terror, as if he had unwittily entered a sinking ship. This is a Yoo Joonghyuk unwritten in Ways of Survival. This was not the man he grew up with.
“1864 times, Dokja-yah. That is how long it took for me to realize what truly had to be done.”
Kim Dokja trys to step back. He trys to run away, escape the stench of blood filling his senses and the bodies of of the innocents that lay dead on the ground.
“So, you’ll have to forgive me for being impatient.”
Yoo Joonghyuk’s grip is tight and bruising on his waist, keeping him rooted on the spot.
“Because, I will never let you leave me again."
After all, you and I - are we not companions in life and death?
Yandere joonghyuk, oh how I love you
