"El!" She screamed, ignoring the officer who frowned and tried to quiet her. "Everything will be fine! We will be fine! I will get out! I will see you before the end of Spring break! I promise El!" A tear slid down Max's pale cheek before it fell and soaked the grass. The officer threw open the backseat door of the police car and pushed Max in.
"I love you!" The last words to grace El's ears before the door was slammed shut and the brunette was left standing there staring at the car with sobs trying to escape her lips.

There's no other word to describe this fic besides beautiful. It's so beautiful. It's characters are perfect and beautiful, it's story is memorizing and beautiful, and holy fuck is it's writing just so damn good and beautiful. Genuinely such a absolutely beautiful story. Total 10/10
