Tony from the future must prevent his own death, bring back the dusted half of the universe, not let innocent people die, and, perhaps, finally face his own feelings head-on (or the plot, if Russos actually read his fans' theories)

    The universe never asked permission from Tony Stark or Steve Rogers. It threw them forward—one through space and the other through time—and left them sleepless in the aftermath.

    It's 2012 and the Avengers are still becoming a family. Steve is freshly thawed, deeply repressed, and running on fumes. Meanwhile, Tony is half-convinced his attraction to Steve is some pseudo-Freudian, psycho-sexual cosmic joke the universe is playing on him. Natasha enjoys reading both of them for filth. Clint is a menace with a deck of cards and a popcorn bowl. Bruce is stressed. Thor is proudly in love. Nick Fury and Maria Hill are so done with all of them.

    There are movie nights, broken tv remotes, and shared breakfasts.
    There are tabloid drama mags, invasive journalists, and talk-show ghouls.
    There are sleepless nights between Steve and Tony that feel far too intimate to be nothing, but far too vague to be anything more.

    There's also the monthly Doombot invasion that’s less a threat to Manhattan and more Doctor Doom’s ongoing attempt to court Tony Stark.
    That is until Steve tells Doctor Doom that he and Tony are already married.
    It couldn't be further from the truth.

He had revealed his designation without apology after the press discovered enough medical details to make continued secrecy impossible. He operated as a hero, ran a company, and stood beside powerful alphas without offering any of them the authority to speak for him.

    He had not been publicly linked to an alpha in years. There had been gossip and photographs—short connections and meaningless assumptions. The only substantial relationship he'd ever had was with Tiberius Stone when Tony was nineteen 'til twenty-two.
